The racing was poor because the difference of standard of riders in each heat, not necessarily because of the track. It's no surprise the best heats were the ones where Covatti was racing as he was at least competitive unlike the other Italians.

If Holder rides for Poole it would make the meeting a joke in my opinion. What's wrong with Poole having Ward, Janowski, Pawlicki, and Milik they will surely be competitive.

I looked for a meeting on this date as it's my birthday. Unfortunately only Cradley and Peterborough ride Tuesday and they have nothing arranged.

They would be crazy to not have a round in the UK, we constantly have big crowds for these events unlike other nations who supposedly have a bigger fan base. The meeting on Saturday was the biggest crowd I've seen for a SWC at King's Lynn.

Whatever the top league in Britain is it will be the Elite or whatever they decide to call It. I have no idea why people get so hanged up about what the top league is called when the 2nd division is called premier. I'd be happy with a larger top division with less top quality riders, certain PL clubs would be able to support that.

But who would go to Coventry v Swindon with out the playoffs, people and promotions moan about poor crowds but imagine a crowd where nothing was riding on it. Of course it's about money we all know this but as the rules state play off winners win the league, it's not how you start a season it's how you finish it and some clubs have built their seasons knowing this. Maybe the should give a trophy for the league leaders but call it just that. I think Rugby Union and League do something similar and play off winners are League Champions.

The team that wins the playoffs are the deserved winners as that's the rules. It's the one thing British Speedway has got right and most sports have a similar System. Look at this season, it would've ended for 9 clubs by May and that wouldn't have help the sport would it?

Top 4 will be Kings Lynn, Poole, Coventry and Lakeside.

Squads are also ideal for the way the EL is now. I don't see why we can't have reduced fixtures and each club has one fixture a week without changing clubs race nights.

Fastest time of the season on a poor track how does that make sense? I was working last night did the track improve as the meeting went on? It's a shame about the track as it's been in decent shape since Colin Pratt took the job. Good win for the Bees in the end especially with Garrity Missing.
