  1. It always seems to take Watt a few meeting to get going after an injury. He is very hit and miss at Brandon. I can still see a win for the Bees here.
  2. Of course there is, plane lands at 5.45 in Manchester. It will be extremely unlikely he could get to Coventry in time especially as it bank holiday weekend. Add the time to go through security and getting bags etc if he got to Coventry before 8.30 I'd be impressed. No Lewis Bridger for Lakeside either. He isn't very well.
  3. I wonder if it will pick up and drop off on the way? Could be ideal for me if that's the case although if not it will be a service I will use on occasions.
  4. Hansen does concern me slightly he isn't getting the points I thought he would. Still a solid 6-7 points and it's job done. Anything from Nielsen is a bonus, it will be tough for Him But who thought he would beat Kylmarkorpi at Eastbourne?
  5. Hans, Bomber and Garrity should all score double figures. Garrity getting extra rides is actually a bonus and he can beat the likes of North, Lawson and the reserves at Brandon. Bridger is usually very average at Brandon. Bees should be scoring big points in 13 and 15!
  6. Luckily for us I don't think the Lakeside team is that good and still think we can take the win. I'd go R/R for Howarth now we should be able to cover ok. Hans Bomber and Hansen will need to step up though.
  7. Let's not have shared number 1s necessarily but a squad system. Teams can sign a squad upto 10 riders and the pick a team out of that Squad for each Meeting upto a points limit. Some sides might have two number ones in there squad but others might only need one. Gives the option of a side wanting to pick their two top riders but then they will be weaker lower down. I have read tweets and articles in the past from the likes Pedersen and Hancock who have said they would ride over here if they were contracted to less meetings. It also helps solves the farcical sides that have been named recently.
  8. Just like to point out it hasn't been shocking all year. It's been in pretty good shape the past few months, yesterday was bad I admit. The The schedule at Brandon used to be speedway on Saturdays apart from 1st Saturday of the month for Stock Cars, the track used to have a week to be prepared properly. Now we have speedway Friday and more Stock cars on Saturdays and occasionally Speedway Monday, it's not enough time for the track to recover it seems especially with rainfall.
  9. Yes mdmc82 is a bees fan and backing them but you Swindon fans are doing exactly the same! I do find it strange that more is not being said of Swindon attitude last night, how many times did riders just give up? That stemmed from Rosco and batchelors interviews, they were never going to do anything with that attitude.
  10. Hopefully you have some for your ever reliable Pole!
  11. Just watched the meeting on sky. The ref was a joke and he did Swindon no favours early on but I thought Rosco and Batchelors attitude was poor, constantly moaning does not do team spirit any good. Havvy played a blinder in front of the camera showing what he does bring to the team. Hans, Harris, Hansen and Garrity all battered and bruised but gave it a go that seemed to be lacking last year. Last few heats were decent with Bomber showing how to ride the difficult track. Now for the track yes it was poor and could've been better but with the weather Friday, stocks Saturday and rain early morning and afternoon Monday it was never going to be as good as we've seen it recently. It's a shame as there was significant progress from what we had earlier in the season. I'm hoping with 4 days to prepare for Friday it will be in decent shape.
  12. Harris having a good meeting is rare is it? He is probably averaging over 9 in his last 8 meetings!
  13. Confirmed on the SGP twitter feed.
  14. Darcy fails alcohol test and out of GP.
  15. I'm not sure I would change Howarth for Summers. We will more than likely face Poole at some point in the playoffs and Kyle does ok round there but Summers is awful.
  16. Might needed them rain predicted in the afternoon although it shouldn't amount to much.
  17. I suggested that could be the case earlier in the thread. No doubt when it was postponed they went straight out to work on the track!
  18. Expected a couple of more points off MJJ and Hansen but Summers did better than expected. A very good point considering, long as we continue to pick up away points we will easily be in the play offs!
  19. Last time we were missing Hans, MJJ and Bomber and replaced with PL 6 pointers. Summers is better than the guests we had 1st time round.
