  1. It seems it's just for GP riders who didn't ride here last season.
  2. Crazy that it would include Kildemand, he was a reserve.
  3. BT want to do a deal, it's some promoters that don't.
  4. I very much doubt that all riders that missed a season are saddled with a 9.
  5. You could understand the stance if there was more than one channel bidding for it. Ridiculous.
  6. It certainly makes no sense. Surely if anything its just a reassessment for any rider missing a year? Even then I find it strange.
  7. Piotr Pawlicki isn't a GP rider in 2018. Anyway it's ridiculous giving a set figure to a rider just because they are in the GPS or missed a season.
  8. Bjerre announces he won't be at Belle Vue in 2018.
  9. So just basically compensation for having admission prices reduced and/or potential lower crowds?
  10. How much money did each club receive for the last year of the Sky deal?
  11. Ice Hockey do this, I believe Pete Ballinger does it for Coventry Blaze. Think it's £7 per broadcast but a season subscription would be great. I would pay to watch meetings that i had zero chance of attending.
  12. I do see your point and I would go along in most circumstances. The problem for us fans is there is a chance that this is being funded by those that want to build houses on Brandon. Supporting this venture is possibly supporting their cause indirectly. Add to that of course many just don't trust Horton. For me if I can be convinced that the stadium owners have absolutely nothing to do with this I will attend but them refusing to answer questions put to them by Coventry Observer about this then I have my doubts. It was done on the Coventry Observer website. That has crossed my mind. Get all fans to turn up for a meeting with banners etc and get the media invovled. Similar to what we saw at Peterborough and Leicester. It does give a SCS group a platform for peaceful protest.
  13. 30 minutes for me to Leicester Speedway but I'm only 2 miles from the M69. The opposite side of the City and you can add 15-20 mins to that.
  14. Nigel Pearson has said that Doyle wants to ride UK so I expect a few clubs will be ringing Doyle this morning! Odd decision for me only .8 difference in averages plus Doyle could have an extra ride with the tac sub rule when they need it. Wonder what Rosco has up his sleeve!
  15. To be honest I'd have gone for Doyle ahead of Morris considering there's only .8 difference between the two. Financial decision maybe? Rosco mentioned finances wasnt great in the star last week.
  16. Doyle confirms on his Twitter he won't be at Swindon in 2018.
  17. This is a good idea although I'm not sure about giving them averages after 6 meetings. Would these riders accept to be in something like this?
  18. You're joking right? You've spent the last few pages looking for bites then guess who comes along to join the party. There is a Coventry 2018 on the NL section.
  19. Would there be fans of speedway that don't support Coventry be tempted to come to Leicester on a Sunday afternoon?
  20. Anyone surprised it's Poole fans that are lacking in compassion and care for the sport? This could easily happen elsewhere and in particular Poole so I wouldn't really make light of the situation.
  21. Just because he is a GP rider shouldn't necessarily mean he should be an 8. It should also be based on league form in Poland and Sweden but no one will argue with an 8pt average for Vaculik. Pieszczek should be about a 6 going by his average in other countries.
  22. No. The thread is Coventry 2017 and as far as im aware it's still 2017.
  23. With the football world cup starting on the 14th you'd think the 9th would be favourite.
  24. I very much doubt the one over 8 will be in the league next year as it's likely the top riders will have bigger averages now the tac sub rule has been brought back in.
