It seems Barker will be fit but ride for Plymouth while I've just seen that Michelsen has tweeted he is now finished for the season. With Woodward and Blackbird also out Eastbourne will be severely depleted. Any other Bees riders missing?

I usually blame the referee for a slow meeting but when we do have hold ups an interval still happens, that annoys me. A 10-15 minute between meetings should be enough for Friday.

If Eastbourne keep it close or winning I'm sure they will both go to heat 15!

We all know that the curfew is 11pm so who knows why it's been earlier than that recently, maybe the stadium bosses asked for it? They wouldnt let a 2nd half run a couple of months back. You would think they could run two meetings in 3 and a half hours, it's the refs job to get the meeting flowing. Stick the 2 minutes on soon as riders leave the track and NO intervals!

We won't finish top, I can't see us fulfilling all the fixtures in time.

But the punter is making a saving watching 2 matches at 25 quid instead of 34. I see you point though it is very strange that the curfew has been 'flexible' it's always been 11pm for long as I remember. If we are guaranteed 30 heats it is decent value but will we see that? I think Swindon will win but I'm confident of taking a point home. No doubt Swindon are favourites but we should never write off this Bees team.

Bomber hasn't scored that poorly for months and after an 18 point maximum he is the form rider in the EL at the moment.

Andersen and Harris will be a match for your top 2 with the form they've show recently. The 2nd string positions could hurt us though.

Garrity v Worrall will be interesting to see but to be honest I'd take a losing point.

Don't they get that if they score 0 then £40 per point. It needs to be a bit more than that in future.

I'd hope the criteria will be changed. The system will work a lot better with the like of Birks, Roynon, Auty and others added. Makes it more competitive for the likes of Garrity and Worrall some of the reserve races have been too easy for them. Overall it's worked well as some have improved which is what it's all about. A few tweaks needed for next season to make it more competitive.

Precedent had already been set when Luke Chessall guested. Either every club can do it or none. There really does need to be a back up plan when this happens in future though.

How come draft riders are turning down opportunities to ride in the EL? We constantly hear that there are not doing enough meetings yet sides are struggling to name a guest draft rider.

To be fair they did get BSPA approval beforehand. It's not like they were trying to pull a fast one. Kings Lynn were within their rights to complain but I think the right solution would've been let him ride and if deemed illegal the take his points off.

To be fair I don't know what else Horton can do in that situation. If it happens again to another club they would do exactly what Horton did and gain permission,having said that I completely understand why KL protested. I'm sure next time he will do what KL did and add a rider to the draft, that was naive from the club. I'm disappointed that no draft rider wanted the booking

That is interesting but I hope he doesn't take it further and we can move on. With the crowd being a decent size and Bees winning Horton somehow made the right decision in the end!
