Mads, Pawlicki and MJJ all decided to miss British meetings they shouldve been at. I'd say fair play to the clubs! If they were this firm a few years ago perhaps some riders will treat Britain a bit more Seriously.

It was decent for a Sky meeting not sure why some are asking for a figure. I did say around 800-900, a few hundred short than usual. The traffic around Coventry would've put people off too especially as it was on sky. It sounds nasty, hope he has a speedy recovery. He was missed last night I feel.

Totally agree with what you say about Andersen, if he rode the track and not what was around him he would've got double figures last night.

3 of the riders are in the GP challenge and would've been 4 had Pawlicki been fit! You seem to forget both sides had injuries! Oh and I forgot it was a tenner last night! Was more than that! I don't know what people expect when it's on Sky.

The only concern i have is Hansen. Howarth and Barker to come back (they would've scored more than IRR and Fricke did) long as we get Brandon grippy for the playoffs we still have a chance.

Losing Kyle was a blow and probably would've scored more than 5 and the same with Barker. Hansen is a huge concern. Looked ok on one ride but way off the pace in others. I would think KL would pick us now.

I can't think of one that doesn't apart from Football but even that has a play off system for promotion.

Not many sports actually have that system anymore most have a playoff system to determine the champions. Some give a league shield to the team finishing top, maybe EL could do that?

But the crowds at any other track apart from Poole and KL would be even worse than they are. Why would the Coventry public bother to turn up when the team was obviously going to finish no higher than 3rd and no play off system? The fact that we had a chance of finishing in the top 4 has meant crowds have been decent. One way to finish speedway in this country is to drop the Playoffs. I went to Swindon for the original Swindon v Poole 2012 playoff meeting which was called off, no way would I have went to Swindon otherwise. I would probably also go to a playoff final even if the Bees don't make it.

But teams now days build up there season to finish in the top 4 that's all that matters, teams make act differently if it was top of the league wins. Coventry and Poole have done it this way in the past. The playoffs is the best thing the sport has done in recent times.

Reading a few tweets that 10 riders were caught with dodgy silencers at last night's gp and 11 caught in a Polish meeting Today. Any news on this?
