Bees Vs Wolves Followed By Storm Vs. Cradley 26 Sept.
Woz01 replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yep it's good for me as I will probably now attend but if I was Season ticket holder I'd be disgusted. How can they stop you from entering a stadium for something that's paid for? Come on let the season ticket holders in for free on Friday it basic common sense! -
If Tai moves to another club they will be getting one hell of a bargain on that average unless of course there is some substance in what was said about grading riders.

Considering Tai is working for sky in the studio for the playoffs then no. -
Posf1 - Coventry Vs Swindon, Monday 29 September

No he is still out. Personally I think we will win the home leg by less than that but it's not impossible. I don't think we will be as poor at Swindon either. Hansen is key for me we have won meetings with him scoring poorly, if he can carry on last night's form then we will be in with a shout of getting to the final. -

Let's hope they see sense, change the pricing and I will probably attend! -
Belle Vue V Coventry & Kings Lynn 22/9

He hasn't got the funds or sponsorship this year like the other top riders which holds him back and sometimes it seems he has to drive to places as otherwise he won't have his equipment there. Probably the main reason why he rides for the Bees often a day before a gp. Next year he can be properly prepared for a gp series as he didn't know till January he was in. Still I would say he shouldn't have as many bike issues as he does, that needs sorting. -

We will need a 14+ point home win to take to Swindon to give us a chance. Prepare it similar to recent meetings and we can get that. -
I was referring to the last few gps obviously not early on. They were the bike(s) he took to Lonigo. I read a few tweets suggesting he may have blown his engine in heat 1 last night but not getting to the track not long before the start didn't help. I know he drove back from Lonigo. Having said that his 2nd bike should really be competitive and only got it right in heat 13 when he overtook Zagar and Cook. I'm sure he did early on but recently I'm not so sure. Riding for Coventry on Friday night before a few gps recently which probably means he needed to send stuff abroad before he left himself.

Bomber drove back and only got to Belle Vue just before the meeting, he took his EL bikes to Lonigo. I guess Zagar would have bikes in the UK and would've used his machinery from the continent for the challenge. -
Its hoped he will be back but his movement is still very restricted. I'd be tempted to go R/R at home especially if Hansen continues his form on Friday.

I'd add the likes of Royton, Auty and Birks to it and even some of the older Brits. Makes it a more competitive draft system for the younger guys in the list. They won't kick on again next season otherwise. -

That is a smack on the face to season ticket holders. This is why I would never buy one. -
Life Of Tai - Monday Nights Off?
Woz01 replied to TheReturn's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think most if not all of the top riders would prefer Wed/Thur/Fri schedule in Britain. Gives them a break every 2-3 days. -
I think we will need a bigger lead in the 1st leg to have a chance. A bit of a shock that we chose to be at home 1st but perhaps they think they can defend a lead at Swindon where double points can help us if we are struggling. I can't see Hans and Bomber doing as poorly as they did the other week though.

Stead having an operation this week so won't be him. Coventry also have injuries. -

Disappointed with the pricing. 22 quid is far to much and why is the child price 5 pound? An EL meeting a child is £3 and NL is free so why a fiver? With the playoff meeting Monday there is no way I can afford to attend Friday now with this pricing. -

Yep it's much harder as a heat leader. -
I ask her myself on Facebook to meet me and prove me and others wrong. She then blocked me! Coventry got a decent win at Brandon so will need a win with a similar scoreline to have a chance. Prepare the track exactly how it was in the last meeting against the Robins.

18 quid for 30 heats of Speedway excellent value! Cradley fans moaning about it though! -
Maybe because the gps have now been a lost cause for him and prioritising League and qualifying. Makes Sense.
-
I would bet that he wouldn't now he has a full winter to get the sponsorship needed to compete at gp level. It also seems he hasn't been using his best equipment in the gps as he used his British bikes today.

Sgp Challenge Final Sat 20th Sept
Woz01 replied to screm's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Tai Woffinden didn't earn his place on merit when he was given a pick for 2013 and looked what happened there. Harris did get to the challenge on merit, what are they supposed to do when a rider is injured? Leave the position blank? He was next in line and took advantage. Look at the so called better riders who everyone claims are more deserving, they couldn't beat him! He got his place fair and square.
