  1. Although Woryna has improved in Poland I wouldn't be too confident with him away from Poole. Even in 2016 when he was at Coventry he was beating decent riders in Poland but didn't convert that here. Some of the away tracks he really struggled to even get round them.
  2. KK can have a poor season and yet still improve his average. Someone will be getting a bargain.
  3. Absolutely ridiculous. His average should have been reassessed upwards anyway as it's half a decade old and he's much improved, not given a reduction just because he hasn't been here for years. Fair play to Poole but these are the things that make people walk away from the sport.
  4. Also the Lakeside championship side would add up to just a tad over 34 using Premiership averages. It's still a decent sized gap between the two.
  5. Szczepeniak last average was 4.93 so Woryna should be the reserve.
  6. Coventry released him on the same average and is given that average on the final issue of the 2013 green sheets
  7. It's not an opinion. From the completed championship teams I don' think any are near the 42.5 limit when using premiership averages for the riders.
  8. I suspect Szczepeniak and Woryna to average around 6. Both will do well at home but poorly away. Also where are Poole getting Szczepeniak 4.54 average from? His last Coventry average was 4.93, did he ride elsewhere afterwards?
  9. Surely an average from 2013 should be reassessed? By the time the season starts that average will be 5 years old. That's not knocking Poole by the way!
  10. Also posted stuff on Facebook, probably best for him and others to sort out what's going on.
  11. It's a rule that didn't need to be made as only two riders are affected by it. This is the BSPA shooting itself in the foot, again.
  12. I'm not sure but I think you only get the reduction if your first NL season was in the last 3 years?
  13. I'd be surprised if the Kings Lynn management didn't have the bulk of their team signed up.
  14. 😂😂😂 He should be assessed based on what he did in 2017 like 2017 GP riders given a 9. We know for GP riders that what they did in 2016 was irrelevant on what average they were given.
  15. I agree with this. I have 3 kids the youngest two 4 and 5 and it wouldn't put me off taking them (If Bees were at Brandon of course). I've taken them to evening football matches and it was more than fine for them.
  16. Poole need a decent 7pt man to back up Kurtz and Grajczonek, ideal spot for Chris Holder.
  17. There is no way the lastest sky deal gave each club 120k each. That was the deal before the one we've just had wasn't it?
  18. Netball is one sport that speedway could do well to look at how to make a tv deal work for you. The sport is growing mainly because of the coverage Sky gives it and Sky don't pay for it either. Wasps Netball get 2000 fans regularly for games, similar at other Netball clubs. It's a much more professional sport now. The sponsorship it generates (it even pays for the tv deal) shows it can work with a bit of common sense.
  19. I'm not saying it's too high necessarily. I'm saying to give all riders in the GPS the same average is wrong because they are not all the same standard. We have statistics from Sweden and Poland to give them a much more appropriate average to their abilities.
  20. Agree with this. Just because your a GP rider it shouldn't necessarily mean you're a 9. Surely use the multiplier or at least look at their averages in other leagues.
