Yes but the staff made a huge mistake making a hole and didn't have the tools to rectify it, a meeting would've gone ahead otherwise.
Nice to know your a regular attendee at Brandon!
People like me work day and night shifts. Wherever the away leg is I'd need to book it off as even if I'm on days I don't finish till 6.30pm. Many people these days do not work 9-5 Monday to Friday. There are 5 Bees fans on my shift who are unlikely to be able to attend both final meetings now. I will be extremely lucky if I could make one.
The Sky Blues won't move from the Ricoh. Wasps will want them to stay there and ccfc still have the option of owning 50%. We have no idea what the plans are yet so let's just wait and see. For all we know they may just want to build a small amount of houses on the site and keep the stadium, who knows!
There does seem to be some confusion but no matter what it's good to have someone like that on the commitee.
To be fair they probably know as much as we do, this is in the early stages but Horton really does need to start asking questions.
It seems many bees fans will be attending this meeting on the 18th. We do have influential people behind us, Tony Gillias member of the SCB is the head of the planning commitee and Rugby MP Mark Pawsey is head of the Speedway parliamentary group.
Great news and I don't see how it could interfere with the EL. The playoffs should be easily done by middle of October so bikes and equipment will have planty of time to be shipped out even if they do want to use EL machinery. The Gp series needs events outside of Europe for speedway as a whole to grow. Europe can't hog the series especially with Aussies and Greg competing year in year out.
Not when it's from the Wife of the chairman of the planning committee!
Far as I'm aware the site has not even been sold yet.
Its the garden centre, when the wife of the chairman of planning tells you this then I'd say that's a reliable source.
Yes, it was actually his wife who posted about the garden centre on the Facebook page. A good friend to have and I'd hope they would keep us updated if there is ever any news.
Anyone a little bit more confident than last week? Starting to feel we can do this. Will be watching some of it on my Sky Go at work wish I could be there!
Garrity certainly has the self confidence and the willingness to improve. He has been superb for the Bees this year beating decent riders regularly. I have no doubt he will make it to a EL heat leader but it's whether he can take the next step after that which the likes of Bridger, Barker and Kennett failed to do.
