I wouldn't be entirely sure about that. -
Shouldn't be a problem, light rain in the evening but a dry day tomorrow.
-
Yep 2nd Leg is Monday.
-
According to the FIM fixture list 1st leg of the play off semis was always going to be 29th September. They actually bought the 2nd Leg of the final forward to the 15th as originally it was down as the 20th.

What is Ford on? The play offs have been pencilled in for October for months so god knows what he is banging on about.

Coventry --save Our Speedway E-petition

I have read that there is a rare type of Bat in the area. -
Forecast is for a dry day after early morning rain but then light rain at 7pm. To me that suggests they should be able to get the track in good enough shape to ride on then rush through to 10 heats. It won't be a classic!
-
Don't see why not. Then again forecast isn't looking to great in Coventry either.
-
Are covers being put on the track? I assume the forecast was correct and been dry today so an ideal time to do it. Also dry in the morning so it can be covered then too.

Yes Mark Pawsey and he is also the local MP. He has been interviewed by the Coventry Telegraph and will be at the meeting on Saturday. -
Yes. I'm in charge of the Twitter account and there are plenty of drivers and fans following.
-
He is a resident of Binley Woods so he will have a say anyway and if he can he will be at the meeting next week.
-
I was posted something on Twitter where we can try and make it a community asset which is something worth looking at.
-
As I understand it if he provides a new stadium for the sports then the covenant can then be lifted. If he wants it done quick then maybe he will go that way. Once we go and see on the 18th what the plans are we may have a better idea of what next course of action to take. Thanks to fans how have joined either the Facebook and Twitter campaign. I'm running the Twitter one and we have 427 followers in 16 hours.

Yes but when someone said I should count myself lucky I've got a job I will defend that because I had to work hard and had to change my lifestyle to be where I am now. That wasn't luck. Are people unlucky to be made redundant of course but just because people have jobs it doesn't make them lucky when hard work to get there is involved. At least they've given dates that they intend to run. Looking at it with a bit of tinkering I can make both finals.
-
Yes please join if you can, good work Pete.

I agree, why shouldn't Australia have a gp? For me it gives the gps more credibility just need another one or two outside Europe. One before the European season and one after and it will be spot on. That could provide a longer gap between gps during the European season and that should help rider availability in the EL!

I finish my shift block next Wednesday so by the time I finish I won't know who we are riding against or the dates. Not back in till the Monday where maybe the final will take place. I'm hoping they at least give us a plan of what they intend to do so I can at least try and arrange some time off, otherwise I will have to make a guess when I'm back in on Sunday. This is why I rarely book time off for league meetings.

Why should I feel lucky that I've got my job, I've worked bloody hard for it!

If I was a speedway promoter it would be the first thing I'd buy!
