It's certainly a tough one as we are all pretty much saying we are not getting value for money for different reasons. For me I'd go regardless and more fool me but I've just posted reasons why people I know don't go anymore. The rule breaking (bending) is a major one also.

But shouldn't that be the first step? To get the old fans who now rarely if ever attend to come back? The length of meetings and the amount of guests in each meeting is the two biggest issues for me. The amount of guests put off the older fans and new fans who wonder how can a rider compete for another team in the same league. A meeting should really take an hour and a half max unless circumstances dictate otherwise.

We will race in 2015 I'm certain of that. The only thing I'm worried about is the track over the winter, will it get the maintenance it needs? As for Garrity if he isn't in any kind of draft system then I tend to think he could stay on for another year. He seemed to really enjoy working with Havvy and the other lads.

The King's Lynn meeting the season before went on till after 11pm. Not so sure it was him that was enforcing the deadline. I know what I think happened regarding the curfew especially when you consider what happened with the storm meeting on Friday. I also recall a 2nd half being cancelled due to 'track prep'.

It was never an issue a decade or more ago when speedway was on 3 Saturdays a month and Stox on the other Saturday. Now throughout the year we get situations where speedway is on Friday, Stox Saturday and speedway again Monday. The track has less time to recover than ever before and id suggest its the most used venue in Speedway. What hasn't helped this season was the stadium hiring a guy to do the pre season work who was clearly not qualified, he was a bloody taxi driver! None they've often had a meeting a night before the Stox.

That could easily change at the AGM and it should if the draft system and heat format continue. He should be at the very least a 5.5 rider perhaps a 6.

You just know that the ones defending Ward wouldn't have defended a different rider. Smacks of self interest and favouritism. Just because he is exciting it doesn't mean he shouldn't get away with it. The punishment should be the same whether it's Ward or any one else. If it was Bomber I would feel the same way, a ban would be needed.
