A few on twitter seem to think the draft list has already been sorted which I was shocked at. They may have got it from the link sport website as it names 7 riders for the Grade A list. I've not seen the 2 over 7 rule anywhere else but the said website.
To make more competitive and to help out the younger lads. I'd have like to seen them included then we could have possibly done away with the protected heats for reserves. The draft system looks a lot stronger than last year.
I'd be happy with Roynon and Sarjeant. I think with Sarjeant we could end up with the best number 7 although the reserve pairings will be much closer next year.
I meant only 2 riders over 7 rule.
Rory has tweeted that he can't ride PL as his average is over 6. Is it a new rule? It would rule out Cook and King doubling up.
It isn't. It is on the Link sport website however and lists 7 of the grade 1 draft riders. I'm assuming Blackbird is the 8th rider.
Auty
Birks
Roynon
Kerr
Newman
Garrity
S.Worrall
Michelsen and Woodward could also be in with a shout for a bees spot but I'd go with what SCB has posted. Always thought Danny King should be a Bee, does well at Brandon.
Reserve position will be stronger which is a good move and also the points limit increase. I don't see anything bad at all, it is just tinkering but think it will improve the product overall.
5? Peterborough riders were owed money mainly due to poor crowds, Hansen could easily be owed money in Poland where it seems to happen far more regular. I'd be surprised if Coventry owed riders Hans would've told everyone after turning up with one bike.
