  1. I dont think Coventry had last pick in the 2nd round after we had the first pick in the first round.
  2. The 2nd pick was based on what rider they picked in the first pick as the riders were graded.
  3. Will Wolves protect Jacobs or Morris in Grade B?
  4. This is why I think clubs might protect Grade B riders, the gulf in class is bigger. Could easily be that Poole will be the only only protecting a rider from A. If that happens then Poole won't have that much to pick from in Grade B. I guess Starke looking at it from my perspective.
  5. Its also in the Speedway Star this week.
  6. Leicester will get 1st pick from Grade A. I can see a few teams may actually protect a Grade B rider. Sarjeant, Ellis, Rose, Jacobs and Nielsen could all easily be protected as the Grade A riders are all close standard wise. I don't think is wrong that there is a chance at continuity at clubs if wanted, every club has that option. Personally I keep changing my mind as to whether Sarjeant or Garrity should be protected. Tough call for the club.
  7. That's how I see it. We will get a decent number 7 anyway so might as well protect Garrity.
  8. According to that Coventry would get 3rd pick anyway for Grade B so likely to get a decent number 7.
  9. We HAVE to protect Garrity if I've read that right. We would get a half decent grade B rider as we would have 3rd pick after riders that are protected.
  10. I think Woodward will have a few offers in the EL, I'd take him as 2nd string.
  11. Hadn't considered Larsen but if the 2 over 7 rule is true then I don't see us signing him. Andersen, Harris and Larsen would be a decent top 3 though. Looks a very attractive average when you compare to Hans 8.3.
  12. Looks ok to me but it will depend on Jakobsen, looking at what he scores on the continent he should be a PL heat leader. Time for Garrity to show what he can do at PL level and average over 7 next year.
  13. Lewis Blackbird had a Danish team last year.
  14. Of course! Just shows how much sport is going on in Coventry.
  15. Coventry has football now 2 rugby union teams a newly professional Rugby League club and a Ice Hockey side on top of 2 speedway teams. Coventry is more jam packed for sport than most other cities. I've probably missed something else to be honest.
  16. He said he has quit British Speedway.
  17. He also impressed me during the World Cup.
  18. I agree Woodward would be a decent option.
  19. I wonder if there will be a scramble to sign some of these riders as assets.
  20. Jonsson may get an average reduction now he hasn't ridden here for a few years and it's much more difficult for heat leader these days. 1 Andersen 2 Howarth 3 King 4 Michelsen 5 Harris 6 Roynon 7 Sarjeant In an ideal world I'd try and sign Kildemand or Tai at number 1, if they do stay in Britain the teams that sign them will have a bargain on their hands.
  21. Coventry did an advert and it was put on before films at the cinema, maybe they should've put it on you tube, twitter and Facebook too.
