  1. I think it's going to be more than 40 quid a point next year. Anyway Garrity is on par with the rest on the grade A list so I don't see why he shouldn't be on it.
  2. It seems he is going to be paid well to do it. He may decide to miss NL next year but I think we will see him with the Storm.
  3. Blackbird was ranked number 1 in the last FTD list of the season. He will be in the top 3.
  4. Holder has been inconsistent at Coventry in the past but I'd sign him if there was any chance. I doubt there is though.
  5. Good move for James and shouldn't miss too many EL matches wherever he ends up.
  6. Poole did have first option to buy back if I remember correctly.
  7. Plenty of riders around the 6 point mark who will be looking for a new team, Michelsen and Woodward to name two. Fisher and Barker are likely to be in the frame and wouldn't be a shabby 2nd string pairing. Could we see Fricke move up into the EL and join the Bees? There are plenty of options yet.
  8. Wouldn't surprise me to be honest, he did miss a fair few meetings for us as a Friday night track. I think the best way is having no doubling up riders, whether that's possible I'm not so sure.
  9. It has since been said that in fact the 2nd round of picks depends on who picks who in the Grade A picks. I assume they will be graded themselves. The Linksport site had it slightly wrong, 'as it stands' Poole do get first pick in round two but if they pick Newman then there 2nd pick will be determined by where Newman is in the list. It has been added onto there website to be fair.
  10. 2nd pick depends on what rider you choose in pick 1.
  11. It will determine the order of the picks for Grade B. So if Newman was 1 and Poole protect and pick him then they will have last pick in the Grade B picks.
  12. Me too. Just seems strange that James was that low down.
  13. Yep it will be a struggle I tried to do a Coventry side with Garrity in and it was tough. Riders in the draft will be earning more than £40 per point next season I'm sure.
  14. Nothing official but it seems these are the Grade A riders. Newman Garrity S.Worrall Blackbird Kerr Auty Birks Roynon Wright Boxall
  15. We will have to see the actual list and where the Grade A riders stand before we can know for certain what we would like. Funnily enough Sarjeant was only 16th on the last draft list published. A lot of Grade B riders above him.
  16. They always seem to miss something out of their AGM statement.
  17. Likely to have 3 riders there that will double up, only 2 allowed next season.
  18. I think they take into account all leagues when deciding placements for the draft. I think Auty will be number 1 then they will go by the list they finished with last season but fit in Birks, Roynon and Boxall where they see fit.
  19. If Newman is graded at number 1 in the Grade A list and Poole pick him then Poole will have last choice in the Grade B picks. To be fair Josh Auty should be number one. He has had more EL experience than the rest and competed more than adequately in a EL 1-5 before.
  20. Yes they can as you can protect an asset or a rider that rode for you last year.
  21. So are the Grade A riders going to be graded? Andy Warren the guy in charge of the Linksport website has just tweeted 'as things stand' Poole get first pick. I read that as it depends on who they pick in the Grade A draft.
  22. They are only allowed to offer the basic rate.
  23. Poole won't necessarily get the best pick in Grade B. I can see a few clubs protecting Grade B riders.
