  1. All our signings have been EL heat leaders in the last year. Let's be honest Danny King shouldn't be riding at PL level along with others, he is too good for that level.
  2. I assuming they haven't as they would surely mention it. Still I don't think he will miss too many. He is good at Brandon and even more so as a 3rd heatleader.
  3. Good signing as a 3rd heatleader but will miss a few doubling up. Hopefully we can get away with that.
  4. Fricke will be a bargain on a 4.8 average.
  5. I'm sure Larsens average is over 7. King would be 3rd heat leader.
  6. That was my thinking. He wouldn't be expensive unlike Howarth and Fricke. Kylmakorpi, Michelsen or Lahti?
  7. Just read that King registration is with the bspa after Brummies demise last season. I wonder if we will sign him as an asset and get priority over PL? If he is actually signing of course!
  8. Kennett had an EL average before 2014 so surely the will just use that.
  9. No one said he was as good as Freddie or Kildemand but the facts are Bombers average is similar to Kildemand and Batchelor. To claim he is 'Rubbish' and a 2nd string at best is absurd. One of only a few heat leader who improved their average shows he improved in the EL last season.
  10. I dont think it was that we couldn't afford Howarth. More likely that Swindon have bought him as an asset and as our future less than certain buying assets would be foolish. Anyway Howarth probably wants more EL meetings as if he did sign for the Bees he would miss at least several home meetings, that won't happen at Swindon or other EL clubs.
  11. Would KK want to ride in Britain though? His last spell for the Bees was awful and he was clearly not committed. His first spell here was excellent though.
  12. Always likely to be back but it's still great news!
  13. Harris is 'rubbish' is just plain nonsense.
  14. You obviously have no idea what your talking about. Harris average is similar to Kildemand and Batchelor, are they PL riders? Harris is one of very few heat leaders who improved his average last season. Considering the EL clubs are only allowed 2 riders over 7 I'd say he is comfortably a EL heatleader.
  15. Just rumour but I'd say it's likely. Ipswich ride Thursday so he shouldn't miss many. I'm hoping for a surprise, if there is I think it will be the number 2 position.
  16. Howarth will be at Swindon anyway. Summers will score more than Fricke at home going by Frickes meeting against Poole, Summers is very good at Brandon. Away could be a different matter though.
  17. I'd say rarely wrong! Can't be that dull a side with Bomber and Garrity in it anyway. We will have to wait and see how others line up before I decide how good it will actually be. Unfortunately there is little point in signing these riders as assets when the future of the stadium is so uncertain. I'd agree with you if our future was secure. To be fair we have two of the younger draft riders this year.
  18. I think Starman's brain has just gone bang!
  19. On paper it's better than last year's team, we actually have a decent 3rd heat leader. So what if it's dull, winning is the name of the game. SCB could be wrong 😉
  20. Having 4 of the 7 riders back in the side from 2014 would be a huge boost.
  21. I'd take that side, solid but not spectacular. I think I said the same about the season just gone and we did ok! Summers will certainly be very good at home, away form is the key for him but will have easier heats than 2013. Another thing I hope Danny King isn't missing too much riding for Ipswich.
  22. Rumour is he's to be going to Coventry.
  23. It would have been nice to get AJ back but I think Lakeside was his prefered club. Bech is very good at Brandon but as with AJ Lakeside would have been favourites once they were keen on taking him back. Looking more like Andersen will be our number 1 unless there's a shock in store.
