Horton did say selling assets and loan fees will help pay for riding at Leicester.

Gary Patchett said bspa would've held the Bees assets but any funds from that would've been passed to Horton anyway.

Sell them. To be honest I'm not too bothered about assets, the asset system is a farce anyway. Once we stopped running at Brandon our assets were very likely to be sold or given away one way or another! Any team news coming soon?

To be fair if it wasn't Horton it would've been the bspa and possibly on his behalf? Also do Bees have to sell assets as I gather NL clubs are not allowed assets?

Then i don't know how you missed it to be honest. Its was talked about on various speedway Facebook groups and it got 18 retweets on Twitter which by having a quick look was more than the Chris Holder signing for Poole tweet. It was reported in the local media too. It was also on this thread and you initially somehow managed to miss it.

There has been 2 fires, one last night and one the night before. The first one was to the turnstiles but not sure if any damage was done with the second fire. Residents in particular must be extremely concerned, the amount of asbestos in the main stand could cause a health risk in event of a fire.

The football club moved because the owners wanted to bankrupt ACL (half council owned) and get it for nothing but returned before Wasps bought it.

A huge part of social media is things get shared/retweeted and people see it even if theyre not following them, people seem to be forgetting that. I always shared Coventry Bees information in the past and it got others popping along or at least asking me about it. I alone retweeting goes to 1000 people that follow me and a huge % of that is local.

The help we need/ask isn't financial. Any sports club needing a new site councils will usually help with that especially if it has community benefits and backing.

I'm sure you need hot water to make a coffee shop to work.

Coventry Council are assisting the group. Coventry Council do own land in the Rugby area and it was rumoured that one of those sites were offered to see if it was a viable option. As i say just a rumour. Rugby Council know the benefits of having speedway and stock car in their area, I'm sure they claimed themselves it was the biggest attraction for visitors into the Rugby area. Anyway, when will be hear confirmation either way about running in 2018?
