  1. 22/1 for Coventry? If even if Jamrog or any other rider fails then there is scope for a change. It looks good value to me with the reserves we have.
  2. Well if we are joint bottom in the betting then it's superb value. Our top 5 wasn't the best last season but the reserves won us matches, it will be similar this season. We also have a much better number 3 in Danny King. Jamrog is the key, can he do better than Hansen? I think some are writing him off to quickly, ask someone who seen him at Berwick in 2013 what he can do. He has even won a race around Brandon in 59 secs. Even if he does fail it can quickly be changed same for any rider. To he fair to Shawn he did then say his home and away split was a lot closer than he originally thought, the general consensus was he gained his average mainly as Eastbourne was his home track. Looking at all the sides Woodward would be a very good 2nd string this year.
  3. We have 9 meetings before that date. It gives plenty of time to decide if changes need to be made.
  4. We have over a point spare so if anyone isnt pulling their weight I'd hope a change would happen before new averages are bought in. Depends when Woodward will be fit I suppose. When do the first set of averages come out? May 1st?
  5. Thought did cross my mind when I initially heard it. Won't have a problem getting a visa so it's entirely possible. There will be other options as the season goes on aswell.
  6. He scores well in Poland averaging more than Hans and Bomber which shows he has something about him. I think he deserves a chance at this level, he will have to average 5.5-6 to stay in the side which quite frankly he should do with the easier heats.
  7. That's true I suppose. 👍 Probably to be fair, there was more than one interested party.
  8. We all understand why he and others have no time for Horton. We don't need to hear it after every bit of news that comes out like rider signings.
  9. I think our reserves will get us in the top 4, just. Unless of course Jamrog is better than a 5.5 average which would be a boost.
  10. He could've spoke to him at any point even before signing Bridger. If JK price was high then it would likely be higher now. You never know Jamrog may be an inspired signing. Can't disagree with that.
  11. But the post we are referring to was something he made up in his head just to get another dig in. It wasn't necessary at all. 15 riders signing for Horton this season shows his post was just for a dig and factually incorrect. Even Kylmakorpi said he would like like to ride for us this year on twitter. I don't why I came back on here after a 2 week break.
  12. Speedway is probably one of the cheaper sports for families but I'd say 15 quid for adults would be reasonable at Elite level. I've had a few people ask me how much prices are in the last 2 weeks, they find 18 pound a tad excessive.
  13. 7th Lakeside 8th Wolves I'm struggling to separate the other 6, I could make a case for any of them to be in the top 4.
  14. I don't think we should expect too much early on especially away but a gradual improvement as the season goes on will be his aim. He certainly has pedigree averaging higher than Hans and Bomber in Poland.
  15. There has been plenty about bidding to be in the refs box etc. I asked him last week about the line up and was told it would be announced soon.
  16. Perhaps fans are interested as it's only Poole left to name their side. The options available making it interesting in which way they go.
  17. Getting the fastest time of the night at the Brandonapolis in 2013 shows there is talent.
  18. Kylmakorpi saying "I haven't heard anything" is a response I'd give if I went for a job and not heard back, doesn't necessarily mean talks didn't previously take place during the winter months. Horton wouldve been crazy not to at least get in touch. Whether Kylmakorpi was asked or not it doesn't matter now. We have our side let's support it.
  19. It's what I was hoping for. Hopefully he will get the necessary time to prepare for each meeting as he is only doing 'speedway events'.
  20. I like the Leicester side too. Certainly up there with 5 other sides fighting for the top 4 (if Poole make the expected signings). Think Lakeside and Wolves will be bottom 2.
  21. Absolutely I seen Iversen have an average Ben Fund and ended the season as a GP rider. Never take these meetings into account either way. I'd very much doubt he'd have his top equipment here while doing these meetings. Now signed I'm sure better equipment will be on its way.
  22. Its certainly given the side a bit of excitement. I understand he is exciting on track, let's hope so!
  23. There are plenty of other riders who would be cheaper. Was hit and miss at the Brandonapolis a couple of years back, fastest time of the night but 2 falls and 2 last places but gained experience in the last year. He is riding in the Ben Fund today although I wouldn't read too much into it whatever he scores. Rode in Argentina this winter and became Argentine Champion.
  24. This is what I'm hoping is happening, it makes sense.
