Auty hasnt 'stood still'. His average has improved by 2 points since 2011! I dont hink Auty will ever be World Class but i think in future he can be a dependable and solid rider for GB.

Barker and Bridger have had only one chance before, Barker impressed Bridger didnt. Cook should see it as experience and try and improve so its difficult to leave him out next year.

Not really it was gate and tootle round and survive 4 laps. Doesnt really prove he rides Brandon well which was your initial point.

Also Barker and Bridger are younger than the riders they are replacing. We have to try and make the final, any extra press has to be good.

People saying why are we going back to Barker and Bridger. Far as im aware they have only competed in the swc once the same as Cook, i remember Barker in particular being decent in a race off beating Crump along the way. Also we are forgetting Barker and Bridger are YOUNGER than the two they are replacing.

I think we can beat the Aussies, Woffinden Harris Barker Bridger V Ward Batchelor Doyle Woodward Those two teams are very even.

I never understand people supporting another country, there was a few Brits with aussie flags last season at KL. I get wanting your club riders to do well in an event but to turn up with another countrys flag is bizarre.

The race off will be very competitive! Latvia has some very good up and coming riders.

Someone on twitter has said it is now dry there and forecast to stay dry till 8pm.

He has bought a new engine and tweeted the other day its far too quick for Belle Vue. His gating at Prague is vital its a bit gate and go but i do agree he needs a quicker engine and lets hope this new one does the job.

A post a couple if pages back suggested GB can win the race off. I have to say i agree. Australia without Holder makes them so much more weaker, Russia with Emil and possibly the Laguta brothers missing and Sweden with an injury crisis. Although we would like to see GB get through against the other nations at full strength i will certainly be happy to see us in the final. Game, set and match!

Lindgren is now out of the SWC and Karlsson a doubt. Sweden have been very unlucky

Because we have to be at least competitive in this, its all very well throwing kids in but we still need experience in the side. As i said before id have picked Worrall ahead of Kennett the side would have had a bit of youth and experience.
