  1. I will be very disappointed if we don't take at least a point but we should be looking to win tonight.
  2. Belle Vue are on Sky next week and Coventry are on the week after.
  3. This is the point isn't it. If riders clearly thought it was dangerous and just wanted to get to heat 12 we wouldnt have had the close racing in the heats leading up to the abandonment. Riders would surely just want to survive the 4 laps but it was clear they were racing.
  4. I know I was referring to your job 👍. Good to see him back.
  5. Different tracks are all part of the sport, if they were all just the same it would be boring. To be world champ you should be able to excel on any surface. We are now getting to a stage where having one or two ruts causes an abandonment which frankly isn't fair on the fans either.
  6. School holidays are finished in Coventry from today (some tomorrow) so that should help.
  7. He has a new team this season. I assume they will all be there for the gp's.
  8. Chris Harris and Dakota North guest for Swindon.
  9. So they had a contract to start track preparations on the 12th but didn't start till the 14th? Why? Although I think the track was far from dangerous they should use all the time possible to get the track into the best shape possible.
  10. Riders should ride on all types of tracks, big or small bumpy or smooth. The issue here is that the track was far from dangerous! The races before the abandonment were close and half decent. Even had time to do a track grade. Imagine if they get a bit of rain at Prague, call it off because it's not perfect. Ridiculous!
  11. I get the feeling had this GP been on later in the season it wouldn't have got called off.
  12. There is obviously a demand there to have the GP'S in big arenas the problem is the temporary tracks. They need more time to settle, putting it down the week of the gp isn't long enough is it? I don't think Poland needs to have it in Warsaw though with Torun and Gorzow having excellent stadiums. In the UK is different as no speedway stadium is equipped to hold the event.
  13. I agree, we have seen tracks in a much worse state at all levels if the sport. Riders also need to take a bit of responsibility here, they were put off by the tape fiasco then after a couple of falls it was clear some just didn't want to be there. The few heats before the abandonment were decent and close racing.
  14. I think it's obvious that there is a difference of opinion between riders in the pits hence this long delay.
  15. We shouldn't be blooding youngsters in a world cup. Need to arrange test matches or look at form in the u21 world cup to do that job. In the world cup you should pick your best squad.
  16. Good news that the track is a lot better. Holder would be one to tell you straight if the track was good or not.
  17. Think it will be a tight match which could go either way
  18. What's MJJ on? Has to be close to that? I think a number of riders would be an improvement.
  19. He has certainly done what can behind the scenes getting a new team in to do his equipment. That side of it wasn't what it shouldve been the last few years.
  20. I'd go for Howarth just for the fact he has had plenty of laps round Brandon. Olly Greenwood to get into the top 4 too.
  21. We shouldn't moan especially if we replace Robbo with a 6pt rider in May.
  22. I have no issue with Rory guesting. It's the rules! If Kylmakorpi gets injured then we can also get the benefit of a heat leader replacing a 2nd string, same with other clubs too!
  23. Sarjeant scored 10 points for Glasgow today, good effort!
  24. Hans was poor, we know it and he knows it. I'm not concerned at all about not making the top 4. A poor start overall cost us, after heat 5 we were decent.
  25. Can't argue with any of that. My frustration with Hans was that the previous night he dropped one point when guesting for Swindon. When fans see that I can understand why he is being questioned. He won't score that poorly again.
