  1. If the interval isn't for track staff etc then why don't they run some of the 2nd half's during the interval? Fans then have a choice to watch, grab a beer or go to the club shop.
  2. R/R would've made sense for Wolves with the rest of the top 5 taking a ride.
  3. He will move up the list going by performances this season so far. It's costing me an extra 3 quid at Brandon this season adult prices up a pound which I didnt have problem with but child prices have gone up from 3 quid to a fiver. Luckily I have a programme app so it's saves me 2.50 so I'm not really losing out. There will become a point were I a regular attendee since I was 4 to say enough is enough. I've paid the the same price (£23 for 1 adult and child) to watch Wasps v Leicester at the Ricoh Arena, they will have a fans zone and activities for the kids, plenty to do before and after. No surprise they've already sold 21,000 5 weeks before the date of the game. Sorry to hijack the thread, King's Lynn to win by 10.
  4. I doubt promoters that don't own the stadium get any revenue from food/drinks etc. Perhaps it's the Stadium owners insisted on the interval for a bit of extra profit? I'm happy when a meeting at Brandon finishes by 9.15 I think that's an acceptable time for the kids.
  5. Or even PK he was excellent Friday night! I enjoyed your comment that you like your mum but you wouldn't want her riding at number 2!
  6. Of course we are going in it to win it. It's just covering every eventuality. If we went in with R/R and then Garrity did get injured people would turn around and say we should have had a guest. Personally I think it unlikely to happen and we should have went with R/R as Garrity form there last year showed how good he is round there. I understand why they have though. It's the 'safe' option and Garrity can still have 6-7 rides if others are not performing and he is. Not that the meeting will go ahead the forecast is horrendous!
  7. If Garrity does get injured we will still have 6 riders remaining then we will still have a chance. 5 riders and covering R/R will be very difficult especially if it was early. We would have a couple of heats with 3 riders not including the reserve heat. If Wolves lose Lindgren early then they can cover every heat. As I said I'd have gone R/R but they have a valid reason for the guest. Maybe if a losing point wasn't in existence then they would've went R/R as then there would be nothing to lose.
  8. A number 6 should be scoring you more than 6 points a meeting at home. Garrity previous scores at Brandon in last 7 matches 8+3, 5, 9+2, 10+2, 10+1, 11+1, 10+4. Pretty much shows that scoring 6 was below par for him, he has set high standards. He only beat the reserves on Friday evening. Hans was below par too.
  9. I agree with you id have gone R/R but I can understand why they've done it. If Garrity does get injured then it's pretty much game over for winning the meeting with only 5 riders and covering R/R. It is unlikely to happen. This way does cover every eventuality. Anyway I can't see sit being on unless there is a change in the forecast.
  10. Jason only scoring 6 is a below par score for him at Brandon and Robson probably would have scored more than Kus. Wolves missed Blackbird so it probably evened itself out. PK was awesome but Wolves should really be collecting points when a rider scores that heavily.
  11. We will win this meeting because of the reserve pairings.
  12. I believe the rest of the top 5 can take a ride which would make Wolves stronger actually.
  13. Musielak out of tonight's meeting. Crashed in Poland yesterday.
  14. The key bit in your post is 'another chance'. He has had plenty already and not changed his ways. Maybe this ban will get him focused but I have my doubts as he still feels hard done by.
  15. Havvy knows Kus well, should do a steady enough job.
  16. Good luck Kenneth Hansen, we are all behind you.
  17. It's not like Janet is taking the dog for a walk in the pits. The noise travels a fair distance before it reaches the crowd and a speedway bike is hardly loud these days. Everyone who owns motorbike cannot have a dog then?
  18. Don't hoover the house or cut the grass because the noise will scare a dog, ridiculous!
  19. Yeah you are never quite sure what you will get when you bring over a rider to Britain. Sowka is a good example of someone who completely failed over here, Jamrog could be another!
  20. Of course that's all that matters to us but the point he made was he is sub standard. He has shown some form abroad and a risk was taken but at the minute that risk is failing. Shows he is capable but whether we see it is a different story.
  21. Coventry is probably the one club where you can't say they don't give Brits a chance. Rules prevent us signing a Brit as we can't sign another d/u rider. To be fair Jamrog is of a higher standard than the likes of Bomber and Andersen in Poland.
  22. You'd think Doyle would stay for the trophy presentation.
