Why we digging this back up. The track this season has been good and the last meeting v Belle Vue was the best meeting I've seen in a while. It's getting back to how it was a few years back.
Harris was superb out of the gate, if he produces starts like that at Cardiff he will have an excellent night. It's one thing he has seemed to have improved on this season.
The reason Lindgren and PK couldn't pass was because of the excellent team riding, Bomber in particular. I can't wait to see the whole side click it will be a massacre.
10-2 down and to win by 10 was an excellent performance. I think Bomber team rode in virtually every heat, a great captains performance. Every single one deserves credit
Its a meeting where the Bees should look at taking maximum points. Garrity dropped a few last time so hopeful history wont repeat itself. I might make the trip over for this on the train, i haven't been to an away meeting in a while.
There was decent racing before the rain came, it was good job the didn't water the track in the end. Imagine the uproar on here if they watered it and then the rain came soon after.
Fair play to Havvy to pull Hans out of heat 13 and give Garrity a go. Other managers probably wouldn't have done it. Maybe the first sign of the management getting fed up with his scores?
Great meeting. Thought Garrity was unlucky to be excluded seemed they were midtrack and Worrall had room to do anything to avoid him, although I think he was lucky in the following heat v Nicholls. Some vintage Bomber and a great heat 15, perfect!
Beginning to agree. I keep thinking just wait till he is a 2nd string and he will clean up in that position but with the form he's showing will he? We were lucky to scrape the win with a superb heat 15 from Bomber and Joonas.
I agree it was all a bit gate and go with a couple of decent heats. I thought I was going mad, everyone on the crazy Speedway Friends was raving about it. Think there was more passing at Lakeside on Monday. It was close though which kept me interested
I think we have 6.67 available if we replace Robson so I think Pawlicki is too high. Buczkowski and Zmarzlik are around that figure but as I've said already could they be tempted?
Coventry are also with the advantage of having their 2 reserves as assets, they won't miss a meeting unless injured. Still can't believe we managed to get Sarjeant in the draft, more fool the other promoters I'd say! I do agree that even with the draft riders should have an average for team building purposes.
