  1. Although I think the Poole side can finish top im not as convinced as most.
  2. Szczepeniak you mean? I was told Szczepeniak average was his last rolling average one and not a % reduction each year he missed.
  3. Well yes it probably was but my point was even if it was true then it wont no longer be the case.
  4. Linus Sundstrom confirmed for Poole so Matt Ford can no longer stop KK riding elsewhere.
  5. Linus Sundstrom confirmed for the Pirates.
  6. The Save Coventry Speedway group will be at Rugby Town hall today at 9am.
  7. The SaveCovSpeedway group will be there and I suspect residents!
  8. Superb this is getting national coverage. As it states there is someone willing to put money into the stadium! Planning must be rejected!
  9. My post wasnt to try and persuade fans to go. I've just stated why I've decided to go but yes fans need to make up their own minds and not pressured into a decision or then think they've done wrong by making that decision like Walter did further up the thread.
  10. How dare you blame the fans! Ridiculous post! You can go to Leicester and still have those arguments, fans could use it as a place of peaceful protests. I don't see how running elsewhere hinders the SCS campaign, they've even said that themselves. I'm of the opinion if we run and continue to do so it will put pressure on the council to help find other avenues like insist on a new site elsewhere. The longer we don't run the harder it will be to get support needed for a new site. Anyway whatever happens Brandon Estates will spin it to try and gain an advantage whether we run, we don't run or whether its successful or not. They'll have an answer for it. We just need to make better arguments instead of blaming the fans choices.
  11. That's a natural progression during a season, most teams usually are stronger at the end as most are scrambling for a top 4 spot. Fair comparison is the start of last season and for me this season is stronger.
  12. Mayne Gemini for one? Perhaps speaking to people who have changed the way they feel/think about it? Not everyone likes to convey what they feel online especially as there seems to be a need for those not going to tell the world why their not going and why others shouldnt every day on Facebook.
  13. Stronger for me. If you compare teams from the start of last season to this season most sides are stronger. It will be even more so if some of the Poles transfer their Polish form here.
  14. Erm it would be cheaper than it was last year if they are 11 plus! You can tell youre not a parent, you wouldn' stop going speedway or any other sport with your child if the cost went up £1 once every few years.
  15. I see adults prices have gone up £1 but at the same time children u16 are now free, 11-16 was £5 last season. Savings for families which I guess is the idea.
  16. Yeah absolutely everything should be fine not to run meetings when England are playing although that get difficult to predict once they are into the knockout rounds.
  17. As someone fairly new to NL speedway it seems a good start.
  18. If they were going to give him money they might aswell buy the whole club and they then would be in complete control. It's not hard to look in the media that the site is now basically abandoned and owners don' give a monkeys about it so it becomes a much easier target for travellers. Also as the SCS group are content that BE are not involved and it wont hindsr anything they do so that's the way I will take it. Also I believe when Sandhu owned the site he had 24 hour security on site
  19. The World Cup (or pairs event?) will be in June hence less fixtures that month.
  20. So we open up the season with a home and away challenge against Birmingham. Home 25th March and away on 28th.
  21. I do get the impression that some fans are softening their stance. I did. The SCS statement might have made a difference to some.
