For us is seems it'll actually be dry most of the day (an odd shower) till evening then rain comes. They could at least give us till the morning of the meeting but Go speed and probably Sky insist on needing to know 48 hours before.

Read a few tweets suggesting this will now be on Friday? With gospeed needing 48 hours notice whether to call a meeting off or not i guess it will be due to forecast. The last thing Cov promotion wants is another farce because of tv.

Monday forecast is better than the day of the Swindon meeting. Pretty much dry after 3 according to accuweather.

Not forgetting its actually cheaper if you went to the last league meeting which for regulars is excellent value. I didn't go Wednesday but have no issue whatsoever paying just £2 extra per person considering a few more family will be in attendance than usual.

Someone like Lindgren should have a few engines in Sweden that will all be pretty much the same to be honest. He will still use his bikes here obviously.

You can take an engine on a plane and back again riders do it all the time. He blew his Wolves engine last week so he will be bringing one from Sweden.

Half the season Joonas has been a 2nd string, makes a big difference.

But if he didn't ask we'd all be moaning about him having no ambition. Tai I agree was a long long shot but he had to ask these riders when we had 8 points available. You actually agree the point then by saying these riders won't ride here so we had no option to go down the guest route. Even riders that have rode here previously didn't want to come over for potentially 2 meetings.

As I said most would pick Lindgren ahead of JK as to who is the better rider. Don't think it changes much just that people are disappointed it isn't a Dudek or Pawlicki etc.

Bringing his Swedish bikes over probably shows more commitment to Cov than he did for Wolves all season 😉

But you don't know if it was coming out of the clubs coffers we also have sponsors who are wealthy enough to help out. As I said your posts was designed to cause issues and friction. As it is it seems we are paying Lindgren well enough to bring his Swedish bikes over even though he still has the Swedish playoff final, I doubt he would risk it otherwise!

This is it, as much as I like Joonas most would say Lindgren is the better rider out of the two. Lindgren is a world champion this year after all! People are just disappointed that a top name couldn't be persuaded.

I was talking about Kings Lynn. They couldn't tempt riders over either to replace Milik.

Lindgren confirmed to guest its in the Coventry Telegraph. He's bringing his 'best' equipment over from Sweden, I bet Wolves fans are feeling a little annoyed by that. Watched his Swedish meeting in the week got the better of Holder once or twice, if he's the Best we can get then so be it. Up the bees!
