Just hoping he isn't telling us what we want to hear. I want to believe it but I will wait for an announcement on the site before getting excited.
We have had this with CCFC and over 2 years later they are no nearer to securing land for a new stadium even though we were told it was only weeks away.
Heaver seemed convinced in his programme notes that next season would be the last. He also said if new stadium wasn't ready they would run stock car meetings at other tracks until the new stadium is finished. Seems pretty conclusive that next season will be the last at brandon
Jeremy Heaver confirmed in his programme notes at the stock cars last night than next season will be the last at Brandon. Also says we should hear news about a site for a new stadium by Christmas.
As a family we are several grand worse off the last 2 years so i know how it is trust me.
I didnt imply, I was talking generally. Obviously there will be people that struggle down south too but generally Dorset is an affluent area much more so compared to Coventry and places up North.
Earlier in the thread it was said he did take it off at the tapes which is also against the rules
Cant be true, the fountain of knowledge hasn't told us on here yet!
Feels similar in Coventry but on a smaller scale with some of our sporting clubs. Manchester does have a much larger population than Coventry also.
You cant deny what Matt Ford does for Poole is excellent work no matter what factors are involved
Poole obviously have the advantage of being in an area where people have more disposable income and don't have as many sporting clubs around. Coventry for example has so many sports teams and that cant help crowd numbers.
But we have a process in speedway where things can be amended. Speedway is very different from any other sport. If Belle Vue went through the correct channels which it looks like they have then results can be changed if a referee made a mistake and the SCB seems it necessary to do so. The rule that was broken wasn't an interpretation the rule is there in black and white.
He did get an advantage as he would've been excluded and had to go off 15m
Doesn't matter who the winner was. Its still being investigated so it is overshadowing the final until a decision is reached. Should've been done before last night. Poole are worthy winners but if we are going to continue not enforcing rules then what's the point in anyone bothering with the sport.
Its a shame that gogglegate is overshadowing the final. The SCB are truly incompetent, a decision should've been made before last night but now it will be swept under the carpet.
He got an advantage because he should've been excluded for not wearing goggles!
Its a bit like a footballer scoring with out his boots on as there was no advantage but the rules say he cant touch the ball without both boots on. Its the rules!
He was probably too busy looking for damp coming through the track.
It shouldn't have anything to do with Sky whether a meeting is postponed, abandoned or lets get to heat 10 for a result. No other sports have that or similar for tv, neither should speedway. The process for either of those should be the same whether on sky or not just like any other sport.
