A 2nd string could in theory have a higher average than a heat leader. Obviously not enough detail is known until its ratified early November. For example if Poole signed Summers he'd have a higher average but will be a 2nd string rider

Wow Harris must be some sort of mathematical genius to get 00.1 below an average in 2 seasons for a rule that had yet to be decided. Harris obviously doesn't get the credit he deserves. Hans wasn't lowering his average, he lost 2 points a meeting! How much lost wages is that?

With Barkers PL conversation rate under 5 he has to be a serious consideration.

Id would certainly have him on that average. He could go to reserve after 4 meetings.

Hans will be a heatleader so will Freddie Lindgren otherwise what's the point in the heatleader list.

Swindon were not proactive building their team last winter. If they were they wouldn't have struggled to find a number 1 and would have a draft rider as an asset so their not so weak in that position. Staying at Leicester i reckon.

Thomsen seems like an excellent shout. Low average with tonnes of improvement especially with a spell as reserve.

We should be looking at signing Michelsen as a 2nd string. An absolute bargain at 5.67.

Considering they said they are doing it because of the imbalance I hope not. Summers for example will no way be on the list.

If he isn't we all might as well pack up because whatever way they choose to decide the list he should be on it.

He SHOULD be in the heat leader pool as he rode most of his matches as heat leader last season.

Agree. They've only gave an outline of what they hope will be ratified in November. Should wait to see how things will be implemented before saying whether things will improve the sport or not. They've given us something to talk about though!

Agree with Larsen, improved since his last stint with us. Much will depend who is in this heatleader list. There will likely be riders on a lower average who are in the list than ones who are 2nd string, Lindgren for example will be a heat leader but his average is 6.1. Surely he could ride Friday, we don't ride Friday on GP weekends. Would love that but I doubt he'll want the extra workload. Big risk on a 7.8, depends on the format I suppose.

No names stand out do they? Doyle may leave Leicester, might be an option?
