  1. Depends what you want the draft rule too achieve. If you want the good ones too improve more then it needs to be more competitive, I wouldn't mind Barker, Worrall and Bridger being in it too help achieve that. Get them involved in it and now that they can get promoted to the top 5 it makes the league much more competitive and stronger at the same time If you want it just to give youngsters rides then fair enough but dont moan if they are outclassed
  2. A few teams probably, a few will struggle to get close to the limit. Of course its a risk but if a club gets a KK in the form of 2010, they'll be on to a winner. Personally id hope Cov dont sign him, we can get close to the average without him.
  3. Joel Andersson wont be on a 6.5 average.
  4. An in form KK would be a plus for any side. Its just whether a club thinks he's worth the risk.
  5. Why not? You cant decide who is on the heat leader list on what club they rode for last season. Wouldn't be surprised if Harris, Joonas, King and Hans were all on the heat leader list. The Wolves from last season will likely have only one rider in the list so it'll need to be made up from riders at other clubs.
  6. Watt did do 10 meetings as a heat leader.
  7. At a guess that side is well inside the limit. The likes of Bjerre have to be a consideration, his average is very attractive.
  8. Surely if a club wants to sign a rider who was in the draft and put them in the top 5 they can do?
  9. Hans will average around the 6.50-7.00 point mark, a little more if he has more than one stint as a 2nd string. He has improvement in him despite his poor season.
  10. That top 3 would be decent enough, Walasek for Barker would then get us closer to the limit but for Thomson maybe slightly over.
  11. It is especially when there isn't many that want to ride in the UK.
  12. Friday wouldn't interfere with the GPs as we don't ride GP weekends. Its only a possible team line up anyway.
  13. I said if a couple more top names give EL a miss he would be.
  14. Just put one into the 1-5 so they'll no longer be a draft rider.
  15. Just rough calculations but I come up with Doyle Harris Kylmakorpi Barker Thomson Garrity Sarjeant Get a genuine number 1, solid 2nd and 3rd heat leader, two 2nd strings who should improve their average quite a bit and a strong reserve pairing. Plus Thomson would drop to reserve after 4 meetings. As I said might not fit just a rough idea.
  16. I wondered this when it was first announced but just assumed they were all a 3. Maybe they wont be which will give clubs something to think about.
  17. Its not bad either. I read the stadium think there will be a decent walk up to the event. There has been quite a lot on the tv and radio apparently. Sam Masters and Jason Crump done their bit today according to various twitter feeds. Read a lot on twitter today too especially from the stadium itself.
  18. It would be madness when there are the likes of Barker under 5 (PL conversion) and Anders Thomson.
  19. Why? If the format changes to the old way he will face reserves and not just top 5 riders.
  20. From looking at it Watt rode 11 of 23 EL meetings as a heatleader. He was injured for a few with Josh G replacing him. Remember Holder and North went to 2nd string too during the season and Watt average is 1.2 better than North's.
  21. Didnt Watt ride nearly half his meetings as heatleader? He missed a few meetings injured when a 2nd string.
  22. Absolutely a 2nd string with the same format he would put 2points on that. Same with Thomsen but then with those two we will be quite short points limit wise unless we sign Doyle.
  23. Yes they will otherwise whats the point having a list to combat the discrepancies in the heat format? Summers got his 6.7 riding 2nd string, Hans got 6.5 riding virtually all season as heatleader. Lindgren got 6.1 and I would bet on him being a heat leader.
