  1. Just rough calculations but I come up with Doyle Harris Kylmakorpi Barker Thomson Garrity Sarjeant Get a genuine number 1, solid 2nd and 3rd heat leader, two 2nd strings who should improve their average quite a bit and a strong reserve pairing. Plus Thomson would drop to reserve after 4 meetings. As I said might not fit just a rough idea.
  2. I wondered this when it was first announced but just assumed they were all a 3. Maybe they wont be which will give clubs something to think about.
  3. Its not bad either. I read the stadium think there will be a decent walk up to the event. There has been quite a lot on the tv and radio apparently. Sam Masters and Jason Crump done their bit today according to various twitter feeds. Read a lot on twitter today too especially from the stadium itself.
  4. It would be madness when there are the likes of Barker under 5 (PL conversion) and Anders Thomson.
  5. Why? If the format changes to the old way he will face reserves and not just top 5 riders.
  6. From looking at it Watt rode 11 of 23 EL meetings as a heatleader. He was injured for a few with Josh G replacing him. Remember Holder and North went to 2nd string too during the season and Watt average is 1.2 better than North's.
  7. Didnt Watt ride nearly half his meetings as heatleader? He missed a few meetings injured when a 2nd string.
  8. Absolutely a 2nd string with the same format he would put 2points on that. Same with Thomsen but then with those two we will be quite short points limit wise unless we sign Doyle.
  9. Yes they will otherwise whats the point having a list to combat the discrepancies in the heat format? Summers got his 6.7 riding 2nd string, Hans got 6.5 riding virtually all season as heatleader. Lindgren got 6.1 and I would bet on him being a heat leader.
  10. A 2nd string could in theory have a higher average than a heat leader. Obviously not enough detail is known until its ratified early November. For example if Poole signed Summers he'd have a higher average but will be a 2nd string rider
  11. Wow Harris must be some sort of mathematical genius to get 00.1 below an average in 2 seasons for a rule that had yet to be decided. Harris obviously doesn't get the credit he deserves. Hans wasn't lowering his average, he lost 2 points a meeting! How much lost wages is that?
  12. With Barkers PL conversation rate under 5 he has to be a serious consideration.
  13. I seen a different photo earlier which was at a different angle and it didnt look as narrow as the other picture.
  14. Id would certainly have him on that average. He could go to reserve after 4 meetings.
  15. Hans will be a heatleader so will Freddie Lindgren otherwise what's the point in the heatleader list.
  16. Sounds pretty good to me! What Barkers average?
  17. Its the same every year. Doom and gloom before a signing is even made.
  18. Swindon were not proactive building their team last winter. If they were they wouldn't have struggled to find a number 1 and would have a draft rider as an asset so their not so weak in that position. Staying at Leicester i reckon.
  19. Thomsen seems like an excellent shout. Low average with tonnes of improvement especially with a spell as reserve.
  20. We should be looking at signing Michelsen as a 2nd string. An absolute bargain at 5.67.
  21. Id hope we will get the detail when the changes are ratified but I guess if you have a heatleader list then they ride at 1,3 or 5.
  22. Considering they said they are doing it because of the imbalance I hope not. Summers for example will no way be on the list.
  23. If he isn't we all might as well pack up because whatever way they choose to decide the list he should be on it.
