  1. If Summers can average over 6 as a 2nd string then Garrity can too I'm sure. Depends on King and Woryna (or replacement) for me. King needs to do better in a heatleader role. Wouldn't be surprised if Harris added a little more onto his as well with a few riders giving Britain a miss this year.
  2. So Buczkowski isn't on the heatleader list. What a farce.
  3. Where did i says fans should be optimistic, im not to be honest. Garrity is far to good to be a reserve so probably 3 but I will wait till I see Woryna live in the EL before passing comment. Team doesn't look great ive already said that but I don't think many sides will to be honest.
  4. Erm they did pretty much did that last year! The last few Poles we've had haven't exactly done well so understand fans being pessimistic. Also having 7 points to play with didnt help, if we had 5.5-6 I think fans would probably give the lad the benefit of the doubt. Low expectations may help the lad, dont think he'll be a Jamrog but a big ask for him all the same.
  5. I used to make up my own results at home and for some reason Coventry Bees always won the league!
  6. But they have in the past started with a line up with changes in mind. You could claim they have signed untried Poles in the past, Szczpeniak being one and even Gomólski was awful over here before 2015. Gomólski had a breakthrough year last year which helped them massively, although they did just have them to fit the limit. Im not saying its a good signing far from it but really don't see it as an issue, if Woryna score 0 in the two Shield matches he will be replaced. Same with any rider showing low scores.
  7. Garrity will be fine, id say he'd stick a point on his average. Key for me is King, he needs to show more as a 3rd heatleader, he is capable. If it wasn't a play off system to determine the champions I dont think Woryna would be signed. Clubs can take a risk early on.
  8. Of course there will be riders available in March. There are bound to be some that hoped to get a Polish or Swedish but missed out so would then be willing to ride here. Everyone thought we wouldn't bring Kylmakorpi in when we did.
  9. We have challenge meetings beforehand and could make a change before the first set of averages like last year IF Woryna does score the Olympic rings True but you know the point I was making. Same with any rider.
  10. Wouldn't really be too concerned. If a rider is off form early on they can be replaced just like they did last year with Jamrog.
  11. Sometimes you wonder what goes through their minds.
  12. They did back themselves into a corner, not sure id have had King as 3rd heatleader as he doubles up which made signing a 2nd string with British experience difficult. Even more so when some of these below world class foreigners also seemingly not keen. He might work out ok with the league looking a lot weaker than last year but it is a strange one for me but as I said earlier we can always make an early change if needed.
  13. Just don't think many riders want to ride here. Once we see all sides announced the Bees would probably look half decent.
  14. I don't think anyone was expecting Larsen, he'd be on the heatleader list if any club was interested. His scoring seemed to improve as the season went on from what I saw. Kind of expect that from a 19 year old.
  15. Surely must be cheaper ways of filling the last place than flying in a Pole every week. As i said in a previous post there must be plenty of other riders not interested riding in Britain as well as the GP stars.
  16. Difference between Woryna and Jamrog is that Woryna has months to prepare for an EL season Jamrog had a couple of weeks. Some Poles take to Britain straight away but some dont, i wouldn't write him off yet. If it doesn't work out he can be replaced early. I'm not worried.
  17. Very few of the top riders want to ride here and id suggest riders below that also feel the same.
  18. I think Garrity is looking for a team place and/or meetings abroad.
  19. Exactly. It's not like a change cant be made if any rider isnt pulling his weight
  20. Pretty much the way I'm thinking too.
  21. The club would have scope if it didn't work out with being 2 points below the limit.
  22. Dont think that was announced, Neil would know.
