  1. I thought Skidder was on about their own Sons and Daughters. Might have read it wrong!
  2. Well thats their choice but that would be such a small percentage. The bigger percentage would be ones actually working and contributing to the household therefore giving their parents more income.
  3. Yeah seems to be a problem for him away from home in the PL.
  4. If Poole own Tungate (not sure) then it wouldn't matter as Leicester would get priority for Tungate.
  5. Garrity was very keen not to be a draft rider. Think that might tell you about the pay rates between a draft rider and a non draft rider.
  6. I have a friend who lives near him. Got any spare dog poo?
  7. Exactly. Lets be honest here, anybody in or around the poverty line shouldnt even be contemplating going to sporting events. Anyway back to Poole. Matt Ford ruins speedway 😉
  8. What Bluepanther says is fact your right but we are talking about a group of people as a whole. If you just want to point at OAPs that are in poverty to prove a discount is needed then I can say the same for families too. 3million children in poverty. It is undeniable that disposable income between retired and working people is getting smaller the ONS and IFS will not be wrong about that. To be honest I wouldn't mind if there was a small £2 discount for OAPs as there is still a gap but in a few years?
  9. No the ONS does and the links provided by SCB shows this. Its not difficult to look it up.
  10. Just like every other age group then.
  11. Its from the the Office of National Statistics (ONS) a government organisations. Obviously different people have different circumstances but this is based on all OAPs. There disposable income is increasing year on year since 1977 while working people have had stagnation during some year so its now closer than ever and it'll get closer. We wasn't the only club and other have increased to that this year. Cant say much when Poole charged £7 for 11-15 year old and £4 for 5-10 year olds. Thats extortionate.
  12. As I thought you just said something without any substance or knowledge. OAPs in general have a hell of a lot more disposable income than in the past and its only going to continue to rise. The gap between pensioners and people who work is closer than ever. To be honest I wouldn't mind OAPs paying a quid or two less but £4-£5 less is a hell of a difference.
  13. Coventry have dropped the prices for every age group apart from OAPs who have an increase.
  14. Looks like they are building a decent Storm side for 2016.
  15. Be good for him to get some individual meetings over here to see his form. Jamrog did a fair few and was poor in all of them
  16. Thornblom was one, think he had only one meeting for us.
  17. Your correct. I was convinced he rode v Wolves at Brandon but I was wrong. Still the point still stands that if he scores poorly he can still be replaced before the EL fixtures. I'm sure other assessed riders have been replaced before getting an official average though.
  18. I think Kennett was transferred to Rye House after Lakeside signed him so Lakeside still had priority as he was a Coventry asset at the time he was announced in the line up.
  19. That rule no longer applies, we changed Jamrog after i think 1 EL meeting last season. I personally dont think he will score poorly but with over 7 points to play with it was a poor signing and he wont get close to that. Difference with Woryna and Jamrog is Woryna has much more time to prepare where Jamrog had just a couple of weeks. Still a big ask for a young lad who has never rode in the EL before.
  20. I think there will be riders more inclined to ride in Britain once the season starts if they have no Swedish or Polish club. The King signing left us with limited options with him being a heatleader and a d/u rider. Of course if Woryna is scoring only 2 points you wouldn't have to look hard to find an improvement and we did similar last year when signing Kylmakorpi.
