In the past it was a huge jump from being 15 and it was say a fiver then at 16 it was £17, thats when they start to decide to knock it on the head. Now that you need to be in some form of education till your at least 18 a student rate is needed to try and keep them coming along. I agree it should be till around 22 years old as most will likely still be in Uni etc.

Cant even put EL meetings on you tube, the sport is stuck in the past. All under 16s free at Brandon next year, dropped the adult price by £1 and Students are just a fiver. They need to get the message out there pre season on normal and social media otherwise the public wont know about the reductions though.

There are tonnes of things the sport could do to attract a variety of ages. For me it need to be much more interactive during the meeting to pass the time between heats. It could be something very basic on the centre green, at least it gives fans something to watch or participate in. Always thought a big screen would be a good investment, for advertising, being a scoreboard and showing heats from the past during breaks. Not having a gb speedway app is poor in this day and age. Songs from the 70s and rider interviews just isnt enough these days.

Id go for Belle Vue too with Poole 2nd. The rest are so far below those two so it'll depend on team changes if any of the others can match them in the playoffs.

The word sick is used by the younger generation meaning good, brilliant, wicked etc. See how words can have more than one meaning.

This thread just proves how easy people get offended these days especially when they interpret the word in an old context and not how its generally used these days. Words evolve like 'sick' for example, nowadays it means something is good!

The promoters are in charge of running the sport they shouldn't be attacking the very people they are hoping to attract through the gate. As they have a position of power, damn right they should get criticised for every poor decision or statement they make. This is another one. In another sport he'd have some sort of punishment but I guess nothing will happen here which in itself is double standards as riders have to abide to rules in normal and social media.

They didn't all agree, the had to vote on some riders! Surely thats a biased opinion. Speedway uses stats just get someone who is capable to produce it.

Cook has insulted many on this forum, the very people that turn up week in week out, sponsor riders and do voluntary work within the clubs. He should be reprimanded for his comments. What is funny is they actually used voting to sort the heatleader list, no one would use biased opinion in a vote would they?

The answer is who knows! With the way the format is and the tier 1 draft rider being able to move up and the 1-5 to reserve is going to be a bit of a lottery. For my club id have said Garrity would be one but he would find himself as heat leader on occasion this season and Sarj on a 3 would to as he averaged nearly 5 in 2015, depends if he is actually tier one or tier 2 too how much of a jump his average would be.

As I put on the Coventry 2016 thread Rugby council leader confirmed talk have indeed taken place. We were told we would get and update around Christmas hopefully they will. Wouldn't be surprised if the site was near Brandon or along the A46 at least. The track share was to be with Leicester if its needed.

I cant see him being as poor as he was towards the end of the season. He should have the beating of most of the draft riders and will have stints in the top 5 in 2016.
