  1. Depends if we can find a rider to replace him. Dont think us having a number 8 is much of an issue as we get priority on King and Garrity anyway. Unless Woryna misses a few for domestic u21 commitments?
  2. Bees v Kings Lynn originally 8th April moved to the 11th, I'm guessing for Sky coverage.
  3. No one saying Brandon has a right to host it. It would be a decent tribute to the stadium to host it one last time.
  4. Quite simple the BSPA dont approve the signing, its not difficult. They can only replace 2-5 anyway. It looks like the riders that would be the number 8 would have a 4-5.5 average so they would fit regardless.
  5. A simple solution would be long as 1-7 named for a meeting is under the limit using their average from the start of the season then dont see the issue. I did read it would have to be a rider new to Britain, for example Poole wanted to use Kacper Woryna for the role.
  6. Because he'd know exactly where he will be riding on what day week in week out. Iversen has rode here for years so doubt its about money for him, more about what he thinks is best for him to become world champion. Coventry Bees for example had 5 meetings in 12 days then zero meetings in 12 or so days, riders dont want that imbalance. I really don't think riders would drop Poland even if they paid less as its one meeting a week.
  7. Yep we will agree to disagree. Of course they wouldn't be struggling if money was no object but I'm quite sure if it was set race nights then they wouldn't be struggling for riders anyway, Iversen would be at Kings Lynn for example.
  8. Spot on. Really don't think that is the case. They dont 'need' the busy schedule that the EL has at the minute because Poland and Sweden pays well enough but I think if the EL was run Wed and Thurs or Thurs and some Fridays they would ride over here.
  9. The only way that'll happen if there was no d/u or draft riders. A number 8 is a very simple idea.
  10. Like having 2 per spot like when d/u was first introduced or as rumoured to be bought in this year a number 8 to replace a missing rider at 2-5. Of course if set race nights entice enough riders back we wouldn't need d/u anyway.
  11. Having fixed race night has to be about getting better riders back riding over here. There are much simpler solutions if its about d/u riders.
  12. I'm a firm believer that the British Final, ELRC, PLRC and all the others should be at a different venue every year. International events at Belle Vue yes, domestic events shared around.
  13. Matt Ford has spoken about clubs having a foreign number 8 who can replace rider in the 2-5 position when missing. It seems it could possibly be used this year.
  14. I did say squad. Matt Ford isnt stupid though, he'd have wanted the best option possible if this number 8 option is implemented.
  15. A new organisation are running it now. Also Matt Ford confirmed he wanted Kacper Woryna in the Poole squad for this season.
  16. But it was for Kings Lynn and Belle Vue.
  17. Its a shame we don't have enough good riders to put Lambert at reserve. Can a reserve only come in for injuries?
  18. At a guess Ulamek, Walasek and Hougaard.
  19. So why exactly do you think he's not coming over? He'd have already sorted equipment for the season ahead. The reason Dak is staying behind isn't because of the original injury. He had contracts sorted in Europe but his dad then suffered another injury (maybe his previous injury didn't help) so he's staying behind. He wouldn't stay behind unless he felt he needed to as he would certainly have equipment sorted already.
  20. Thats hardly fair on Poole if they wasn't even asked. Maybe the price for goggle gate! 😂
  21. If there is no injures id be surprised if the line up wasn't Woffinden, Harris, Lambert and Cook. Who would likely be the U21 reserve?
  22. Absolutely nothing. It just the ones that jumped up and said that Dakota is staying in Australia because of his fathers previous injury which isnt the case. He was coming back over to Europe to ride, his Dad even went back to work but then had another accident which made Dakota decide to stay behind.
