Like having 2 per spot like when d/u was first introduced or as rumoured to be bought in this year a number 8 to replace a missing rider at 2-5. Of course if set race nights entice enough riders back we wouldn't need d/u anyway.

Having fixed race night has to be about getting better riders back riding over here. There are much simpler solutions if its about d/u riders.

I'm a firm believer that the British Final, ELRC, PLRC and all the others should be at a different venue every year. International events at Belle Vue yes, domestic events shared around.

Matt Ford has spoken about clubs having a foreign number 8 who can replace rider in the 2-5 position when missing. It seems it could possibly be used this year.

I did say squad. Matt Ford isnt stupid though, he'd have wanted the best option possible if this number 8 option is implemented.

A new organisation are running it now. Also Matt Ford confirmed he wanted Kacper Woryna in the Poole squad for this season.

So why exactly do you think he's not coming over? He'd have already sorted equipment for the season ahead. The reason Dak is staying behind isn't because of the original injury. He had contracts sorted in Europe but his dad then suffered another injury (maybe his previous injury didn't help) so he's staying behind. He wouldn't stay behind unless he felt he needed to as he would certainly have equipment sorted already.

Thats hardly fair on Poole if they wasn't even asked. Maybe the price for goggle gate! 😂

If there is no injures id be surprised if the line up wasn't Woffinden, Harris, Lambert and Cook. Who would likely be the U21 reserve?

Absolutely nothing. It just the ones that jumped up and said that Dakota is staying in Australia because of his fathers previous injury which isnt the case. He was coming back over to Europe to ride, his Dad even went back to work but then had another accident which made Dakota decide to stay behind.

Wonder if Coventry were asked in the last two years? Finished 2nd last year but Belle Vue get the spot and Coventry were finalists in 2014 but Kings Lynn got the spot finishing 2nd. Why doesn't Poole want to do it? They were one of the ones that originally pushed this.

One for the Bees promotion, was we asked to compete in the World Speedway League event in Berlin? The reason I ask is we were losing finalists in 2014 and Kings Lynn got the spot for finishing 2nd yet in 2015 we finished 2nd but Belle Vue got the spot? Wasn't this pushed forward by Matt Ford and now doesn't even want to compete in it?

Norths Dad went back to work after his accident had a fall and did himself quite a bit of damage. Thats when North decided to stay behind.

Shouldn't be a problem as there will be 2 nights. Leicester will obviously get the choice.

Horton seems to have the impression of getting a track down and put a temporary stand or two up while they work on other areas of the stadium. Me personally id rather they take there time and get it right and if that means going to Leicester for half or a full season then so be it.

Yes the new stadium is being funded by him it seems. We only learned yesterday he did in fact sold the stadium in 2014 with a promise that Bees and Stox can run at Brandon until 2016. Now it seems fairly certain the new owners/developers want us out by November so they are now pressing ahead with the new site. I'm sure they've known the site for a while as it seems plans have been drawn up, next for them is to announce where exactly it is and show us the plans. As we know there is a long way to go but at least it seems there is a will to get a stadium built.

Sandhu no longer has anything to do with the stadium, he sold it in 2014. One condition of the sale was for the stadium to continue until November 2016. All sports are getting kicked out then by the new owners/developers. The rail issue was down to London Midland saying they didnt have the carriages but now all of a sudden they've found some now Wasps have stumped up cash to help run a Matchday service. The new site it seems cant have houses built on it. The last point about a Somerset type stadium, it could be but doubt it. They want a stadium that can hold crowds for the big stock car meetings and Heaver has already spoken about needing better facilities for sponsorship and regular fans. It won't be a Belle Vue thats for sure! Would be interested to know how much Sandhu sold Brandon for.
