Have to agree with tomhaines and jojo this idea from the GP`s is totally wrong for quali`s Maybe the system they are using here in Germany where the top 8 go into semi`s and a final but the total points scored go to decide the 6 that go through.That way you get the best racing against each other but its the total meeting that counts

Something that i was thinking about but now back in my thoughts due to events at Armadale.Its reasonable to expect that a fair few of the New Cross crowd were also Millwall fans and given that Millwall have a history of crowd trouble dating back before speedway started.Was just wondering if anyone who went to New Cross or maybe West Ham know if there was crowd trouble recorded or witnessed.My grandad told me he was on a supporters bus that was stoned by Belle Vue fans in the early days so speedway supporters arent the angels we like to think.

There is also the Bergring -Grasstrack speedway at Teterow,starting at 14:00.I think Kelvin Tatum,Robert Barth and Trevor Banks are among the riders appearing .Saturday and Sunday(12:00)

Was at the London Cup match in `73 when the Dons trailed at home 8-21 after 5 heats to come back and win with a last heat 5-1.And then later in the year Hackney snatched a draw with a 5-1 in the league match.But personally i didnt at the time feel that there was too much rivalry.It was maybe that Wimbledons natural rivals ,Wembley,West Ham and New Cross had gone and Hackney were there in place Always looked forward to Belle Vue`s visits more,to be honest.By the 80`s it was much better,maybe the passing of time,maybe because we both had more exciting teams remember seeing a match against an Ex-Wembley side ,just a fixture filler.Dont think an Ex-Hackney side is a better idea,personally

Ah,but sometimes it pays to take a chance.Not saying Stange is the right one to chance,just that he wants to come over.Better bets might be Smolinski or Knakowski ,who just made his debut for Holsted in 1.division scoring 12 pts .Matze Schultz on the other hand has stated he has no interest in riding in Britain See on Kugelmann`s web site he lists Poole as one of his fav tracks, so if yours is anything like it then he might be alright
