  1. Good interview with D.Tschatschin in this months BSA.Won't be 18 until may.Trained by Sergej Kasakow, who has taken him under his wing.Does say though that the next important meeting for him is the German Championship. One for the future
  2. Results from the weekend in Sweden here
  3. Just the 3 winners,as the Czech Republic are seeded through as hosts
  4. Race plan here See Günther gets to meet both sets of brothers
  5. Can't imagine Günther could have hoped for a better start Maybe get some media interest if he is still in with a shout come Berlin, but i doubt it,not if there is any Nordic Skiing or speed-skating on
  6. Great result for Günther. That first heat was always going to be tough, but after that... Same again tomorrow would be a terrific result
  7. Fair enough! As long as i get a share of the spoils, weevil infested bread and a bottle of rum.Where do i sign on,shipmate. Just don't make me eat Marmite or chase foxes
  8. I dont understand how the hell someone can make three hundred pounds a year for playin silly buggers in three countries..sounds like a good gig to me... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Surely you must make more than that for playing "silly buggers" on the high seas

Was also good at reserve.Think it was 83 or 84 when Coventry came to Plough Lane and out of about 33pts,Rick scored 14 from the no.7 spot.Think TK only got 6 or 7,which was an improvement on his previous appearance when he scored 3 or 4
  10. Saw Rick's request, but didn't want to start a thread because Kelvin always seems to attract as many negative comments as he does positive, which i really can't understand But like Steve said he really burst onto the scene at Wimbledon and was fantastic at reserve and just got better. Was definitely in the elite for a period.Be interesting to hear what Rick has to say
  11. Kevin,if you fancy a trip to Germany for a meeting, why not come a bit further and on 14th & 15 th May at Teterow there is a festival of speed to nick a phrase.During the day on the biggest grasstrack in the world will be the qualifiers for the Golden Helmet, ect.Later on there will be an international speedway meeting in the stadium next door. After that if you stay in a tent theaction goes on through the night on the camp site. The next day is the main event for the grasstrack and if you still have not had enough about half-hour away there will be another international speedway meeting at Güstrow.Take a look here to see how well the British boys have done at Teterow in the past. Alternatively if you fancy seeing Kelvin challenge for the Longtrack G.P title, try 20 & 21.08 at Parchim. There will be practise on the saturday at Parchim.Parchim will then be hosting the 1.Bundesliga in the evening, just down the road at Ludwigslust. Then the G.P will be on the 21st.Another great weekend of racing.Look here for info and click on "aktuell" you can see a video of the 2002 meeting Just an idea for you

Yep,and lets hope he can come out fighting fit and get that Longtrack World title that he so narrowly missed last year But we better be careful not to go off thread again or we will end up with a thread for each rider from the Bees team

Just wondered if you get to any speedway meetings in the U.S,and what is the state of speedway over there now? Thought i'd post a picture of the Bees from the old days here to bring back memories.A great team,of course Kelvin was my favourite.
  14. Thanks Tomaz I thought you were going, saw the questions on inspeed.de,but as there was nothing else thought maybe you changed your mind. What about Berlin?
  15. I do have a slight fear that no non-russian will get into the first 7.Sure Franky and the rest will have one maybe two good rounds each but i think the russians will be too consistent :(Agree with the racing though, can't wait
  16. Making a prediction then conkers? Would be very good if Bauer,Aakko or Zorn made it onto the rostrum.I will be happy if going to Berlin one of them still had a chance, but fear they might be lucky just to stop a Russian top 5 As for Marian,he spent the week in Russia from the Team champ. He says it was down to him,his bikes were fine. My guess is; 1.Bulankin(think there will be only a few points between the 2) 2.Krasnikov 3.I.Ivanov 4.D.Komitsevich 5.Lumpov or Bauer(if Inzell was holding a final, would be more confident)
  17. If anyone has the Bayern t.v channel there is a report on the Inzell semi, tonight.Either the sports show at 20:15 or the one at 21:45(maybe both)british time
