  1. Well done Sue I was thinking it would be there, but he changed his siggy which had the link on it.Anyway, great result from Hefenbrock and Matze
  2. Must admit like spin king i was wondering who the thread was about.Maybe my memory has faded but i seem to recall he was called "Schoey"
  3. He was Norbold. While i was out,i thought i should have mentioned Norman Parker as well.Another just before my time, maybe not as talented as the others,i don't know.By all accounts as great a person as the rest though and one of the main reasons the Dons were the best team in the world for a period
  4. I guess we were spoilt at Wimbledon to have had 2 of the greatest, not only in terms of ablitiy but character as well.Ronnie Moore and Briggo. Two of the riders who really gave their time to the fans.To mention that Tommy was following in their footsteps on both counts says it all for me about the guy.
  5. Hopefully will get the chance to see him a few more times this season, when he performs up to his normal standard.Saw Charlie Gjedde once last season and Henning Bager rides here often and they are both very exciting. Was expecting the same from Kenneth.Didn't realise his name was pronounced like that.I thought it was more like "Berry" Hope to make the U21 invitation final at Grinsted, the U19/U21 at Holsted and the Danish round of the team U21 quali at Holsted among others so he shoulöd be riding in a few if not all of those. Not to mention the Danish GP.Its not so bad living in North Germany after all Edit: As i left at 13:00 to give myself enough time to find the track, etc i didn't see your message that you would also be there.Maybe another time
  6. When i looked at the programme and saw Nicki and KB were lineing up against each other 3,maybe 4 times i thought"this is going to be something special".Pity it didn't work out that way.Even in heat 1,although KB was in second before the bike packed up he wasn't really troubling Nicki. Also i loved the team riding from Nicki, telling Puk where to go,don't see that in the Bundesliga with the 4.t.t. format Anyway now i know how far or close it is i will be back a few more times this season. Also worked out how to use the unmanned petrol stations! One thing Garf,do you have the times of the races or know a web site with them on.Couldn't understand the Danish announcer(although i kept getting the last bit(....1,7) Put some photo's from the meeting online.Click on my siggy
  7. Holsted were penalised 3 points for fielding a side over the limit Holsted 50 N.Pedersen (3,3,3,3,3,3)18 K.Jablonski (1,2,2*,1*,e.f)6+2 N.K.Iversen (2,2*,1*,3,2*,2*)12+4 H.Möller (0,1,2,0,2)5 C.Wortmann (0,0,0)0 L.Jankowski (3,3,3,0,2,0,1)12 Slangerup 46 K.Bjerre (e.f,1,e.f,1*,1)3+1 M.Nilsson (2,1,3,1*,2*,1)10+2 J.B.Jensen (1,0,1,2,0)4 A.Miedzinski (3,2,e.f,3,3,6,0)17 L.Madsen (2,3,1*,2,1)9+1 K.Jakobsen (1*,0,2,0)3+1 Match race for 1000Kr H.Möller bt L.Madsen Good meeting thanks to the minus points and the joker was all square going into the last heat.Nicki Pedersen was class though and Slangerups top 2 on paper were poor,Bjerre let down by machine problems and Jensen just looks poor.Miedzinski though looked very good as did young Leon Madsen. Not too sure about Pooles assett, birthday boy Casper Wortmann
  8. Missed you.Was dissapointedin KB,expected more from him
  9. Just want to ask if anyone knows how this works(if i've understood right). If a team is over the points limit they are penalised 3 points. So if in the first heat they get a 5-1 it counts as 2-1,and the scores go on from there.Presumably if they lose 5-1 it is 5--2,and with these scores going on if they are 6 points down they can use the joker
  10. That was what i meant.Tjaerborg super cup?Just wondered who was riding.Anyway Garf, don't know what track you go to,but if the weather holds i hope to make it to Holsted wednesday for the match against Slangerup.Maybe see you or someone else from the forum PeterS..
  11. Germany-Sweden-G.B-Slo/Hun What about the line-up for the Danish U21's tomorrow Garf?

  13. They are just the riders you don't want to give a head start to though
  14. Wasn't aimed at you,or anyone in particular as i can't remember who tipped him.I bet Rico was one though. But it does seem he is rather struggling this year,in the league a bit as well.Pity really, that a great speedway nation like Poland only has one WC to it's name, and that being one of the worst of their "best" riders.Think his best chances are behind him and maybe he will look back on his decision not to ride more in Britain as a big mistake.
  15. What about a lot of people's tip,Gollob?.All saying this will be his year, back on proper tracks, better system for him.......
  16. Here is a list of the current standings in the qualifying round for the U21 North and South.Just one more round to be raced in the North.Tobi Kroner should jump up the list.Max Dilger heading the Southern group

  18. Unfortunatelly this often happens that the line-up isn't announced until a couple of days before the meeting.Sometimes obviously because of injuries they would be giving out false info if riders didn't turn up.Other times i think because the line-up is not too good they don't want people to know.We have another problem in Germany in that the speedway magazine doesn't for some reason give as much coverage to meetings in the east of the country as the rest of the country gets.Meissen does get at least a mention in this months mag but 2 of the biggest meetings of the year(Teterow and Güstrow this weekend)don't.When you think Teterow are expecting around 35,000 and Güstrow more than 6,000,it is not a very good service to the sport. If i see anything i will let you know. www.mcnordsternstralsund.de is a very good web-site for speedway info from the east of the country.
  19. Can't answer your question Darija, but is it true your brother is competing in the meeting? Is he riding any other meetings in Germany this year?
  20. Thanks for that Unfortunatelly as i don't know the destination(Slangerup speedway bahn/track doesn't work)it ain't much use.Would have thought they would have the destination programmed in for divs like me Maybe easier to get there from Fredrikssund?
  21. Can anyone help with info on how to get to Slangerup for the match against Holsted. Is there a bus from Copenhagen,as i can't see a train station too close to Slangerup :unsure:Also can anyone help with Holsted. Is the track easily reachable by train?
  22. Glad to hear he is a bit chirpy, podster. Was a nasty looking crash.Got a pic on my webshots about a second before the crash.Pape was going round the outside trying to take Schultz but must have clipped the fence.Hope Henning is back in time for the 2.Bundesliga meeting at Brokstedt in August.
  23. on inspeed.de it says the German team is M.Smolinski C.Hefenbrock T.Stange M.Schultz Pretty good quartet
