  1. The longest post in the forums history and you go quoting it just to put that on.Have you read the rules
  2. No Brits,but you can follow the progress of some of the other talented youngsters here.Go Kevin go After 20 heats 1. Alexander Lieschke - 0 2 1 сх нс = 3 2. Emil Saifutdinov - 3 2 3 2 1 = 11 +1 3. Maksim Bogdanov - 1 3 3 1 3 = 11 +0 (reserve for final) 4. Lubo Tomicek - 2 2 2 3 2 = 11 +2 5. Veroslav Kollert - 0 1 0 0 1 = 2 6. Roland Kovacs - 1 0 0 0 1 = 2 7. Daniil Ivanov - 3 1 1 3 0 = 8 8. Tobias Busch - 2 1 1 1 2 = 7 9. Kevin Woelbert - 2 3 2 2 2 = 11+3 10. Kjastas Puodzuks - 1 3 3 3 3 = 13 +3 11. Emil Saifutdinov -------------------------- 4. Maksim Bogdanov Great result from Kevin,at only just turned 16.Watch out for this lad!!!
  3. With the Joker though,is that really the case.We can see the team that isn't as good overall but with one or two good riders take advantage of a quirky rule and a bad refereeing decision here or there, win.
  4. Agreed. Was pretty much what i predicted after last year. Some got a bit carried away and forgot that it was a home meeting. The thing that worries me is,what happens next year if there isn't a meeting in Britain. Will we even make the final?A good team manager gets more out of the riders than people would expect. On the face of it,last night was a good opportunity to finish second as both Sweden and Denmark were also poor.O.k Stekkers is new,but even he should be asking questions as to why his top riders didn't perform. In other sports there is a team looking after players/riders,we need to move into the next few years with a modern outlook and employ sports psychiatrists, etc as back up.Read in the paper today the quote from Dave Moorcroft "Every day we wait is a day wasted".How many years are we going to wait and waste?
  5. Sorry,no way am i having a Union Jack.Best i can do,seeing as there isn't a half England,half Scotland one
  6. As long as he doesn't have the same luck as for the Slangerup match
  7. Tommy Steele could do a better job than these Poles
  8. They'll try anything to put our lads off.Probably hold them up at customs until after the final is finished.
  9. Bet there is a Polish ref at the next 2 meetings as well And they will be up to the usual tricks,Brass band playing all night long outside the other teams hotels, giving them dodgy polish food( that might not work on Team GB),probably even doctor the track
  10. Well as both you and myself thought GB would struggle...... Personally after heat 1 i thought GB would be battling for second with Russia and Czecho
  11. There are photos on my web shots,in the Danish section. It's the track with the 80cc track inside it.
  12. Can't see it superjoe, maybe Henrik on his home track but he shouldn't really be a match for those 2
  13. Well Brightonbob,Richtea,Shazzy and i did include beercellar as i thought he was one
  14. This is the post that gets me.The person that posted and about 3 or 4 others(a fair number of Eastbourne supporters).Does 5 or 6 people represent "the fans general sense of opinion" or was this a tongue in cheek post
  15. Maybe you got the ref's autograph? Was he a John
  16. I would have thought the Danish team will be announced after the U19/U21 Final at Holsted on the 14th August. But i would have thought the team would certainly include Morten Risager,Henrik Moller and Kenneth Bjerre and the two best placed others in the final.

  18. Well Chris he hasn't been able to concentrate so much on speedway this year as i think he is finishing his apprenticeship. Had to cut back on commitments, but like you, think once he can fully concentrate and start doing overseas leagues as well then he is an exciting talent
  19. Well Grachan,he did qualify for the World U21 final along with Smolinski and Stange.Matze just missed out and is reserve The only meeting i have seen him in recently was the Euro semi at Stralsund which from a German point of view is best forgetting.Christian,Matze and Mirko Wolter all had a poor meeting.
  20. The GP's are run by the same people though, aren't they, and you can watch practice at them.
  21. Probably find something from the people at Holsted, but at www.hovborg-kro.dk you can contact a hotel about 15 miles away.I always come back the same day so never looked for a hotel.Any info on the Oz line up as i'm hoping to get along for the meeting Noticed i put the wrong web address on at first
  22. Agreed Kevin.I know some say it's a "mickey mouse" competition, etc, but it gives the other youngsters a valuable experience and probably a head start on our youngsters.
