World U21 Qualifier (sheffield).
iris123 replied to Rob S.'s topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Messing was out injured a few weeks back when Sweden held their quali.Leon was injured last year for the Dansih U21 Final which was the quali for this year.Nikolai Klindt finished way down which is a pity as he seems to be riding really well at the mo. -

Think you will be lucky.Denmark is normally pretty poor for updates, unless a Swedish site is doing one.I will be going to the meeting, but i'm sure the result will be posted long before i get back -

Lars Hansen DK ------------------------- 17. Kenneth Hansen DK 18. Claus Vissing DK Denmark with their first past the post qualification from last years U21/U19 Final have left out a few good riders such as Klindt and Madsen.Madsen in particular is a bit hard done by as he couldn't even compete in the Final as he was injured at the time. Can see a Swedish 1-2-3,but am still hoping for some good racing especially for the 4-8th places

I thought it was a public holiday today in Poland. Why is it strange and roundabout to hold speedway meetings on a public holday?

Is Stefan Andersson fit to ride for Piraterna after his crash yesterday?Sure hope so. Just looking at the line-ups....wow!Must make most British fans envious
-
Looking back in my programmes for the season. In the 2 meetings i should have seen him he was listed in the line-up but didn't ride,so that sounds about right.Even in 87 for his Jubilee meeting he came out done a few laps and then withdrew from the meeting.

And Markus Eibl beat Kelvin Tatums fastest speed to hold the new world record,so i see

I'm sure it will all be in the forthcoming backtrack magazine Think chunky has it all there.I went to Simmo's Silver Jubilee meeting and the programme has full stats for his career from 65. 1985 Swindon with the KOC as well: 40....167.....306...24...330...7.90 (3 Full max)

Spoke to Jonas after is first heat and he found it a bit strange as the track was so slick compared to Elite League, but he seems to be enjoying it in England I would have thought Klaus and Flemming will be back soon, but the injury to Thomas, might take longer to mend.It took them quite a long time to get him in the ambulance,so it seemed to me.I too hope to see him back on track soon

What happened to Andreas Messing? He was in the line-up a few days back. The first 3 look certain to get through at Holsted. The others?
