  1. Got the result of the 3rd Quali R.Bach 15+3 D.Sjögren 12+2 S.Fischer 11+1 D.Ward(Aus) 12+0 N.Carlsen 10 K.Katajisto(Fin) 9 H.Karlsson(Swe) 8 R.Jensen 8 N.Jakobsen 7 D.Fagerkrantz(Swe) 6 ----------------- M.Andersson(Swe) 6 ----------------- N.Siltaniemi(Fin) 4 M.Liszka(Pl)4 K.Cieslar(Pl) 3 M.Szymko(Pl) 2 J.Munro(Aus) 2 Spoke to Darcy's father and he said Dary was looking good in second place in the final but fell.Seems like he will be putting in an appearance at King's Lynn on a 250cc bike as well
  2. All i know is that all the Danish riders have qualified. Not easy to get info from these meetings, especially as the DMU site is down.Maybe a Swedish site has more info?.I will find out only when i get there later.Should post the semi-final resuls around 24:00
  3. If you are ever stuck for results, this is a good starting place.Lots of info
  4. I take loads of pictures, but only put a few on webshots Have to agree, yesterday he looked very good. But at Outrup in the DM semi's he was all over the place and failed to qualify.Very exciting, but a bit wreckless. The same yesterday against Vissing he came from behind, then went way too fast into the bend and ......POW! Was expecting more from Rosén,but like i said Dennis Andersson looks like he could stop a Danish white-wash.As does Sam Masters on yesterdays form.Look forward to tomorrow, then we will start to see who are the real contenders
  5. Yes Mikael,i was there Will miss the last quali, thursday. But hope to be there for the semi's and the Final Some foto's here
  6. 1st Quali(Riders from Denmark unless otherwise shown) M.P.Toft 14+3 D.Andersson(Sw)13+2 L.Raun 12+1 S.Andersen 11+0 M.Melchiorsen 11 K.L.Nielsen 11 P.Tirsdal 8 S.Wozniak(Pl) 8 S.Carlsson(Sw) 8 P.Aspgren(Sw)6+3 ----------------- J.Palmi(Fin) 6+2 ----------------- R.Medson(Aus) 5 O.Nilsson(Sw) 4 V.Wasenius(Fin) 2 R.De Biasi(Fr) 1 ???????(Pl) 0 Good first meeting.Young Robert Medson was a bit unlucky not to get through.Had a couple of heats to get used to everything and started to get better as the meeting went on.Dennis Andersson was the best non-Danish rider.Looked pretty fast. Quali 2 M.LiGlad Jensen 12+3 N.Porsing 12+2 J.Schmidt 12+1 M.Vissing 15+0 S.Masters(Aus) 10 M.Randrup 10 L.Kragh 9 A.Rosén(Sw) 8 N.Häggblad(Sw)7+3 ----------------- P.Sundström(Sw) 7+2 T.Hagansbo(Sw) 6 ------------------ M.Loppi(Fin) 3 T.Piecha(Pl) 3 C.Szymko(Pl) 2 T.Reich (USA) 2 P.Foltynski(Pl) 1 In the second quali the young Danes dominated,but the sensation for me was the youngster from Down under.If it wasn't for an e.f in his second heat while leading Michael Vissing he would have had 13 points and been in the Final.Fantastic,especially if this is the first time he has been on an 80cc bike.If he carries on like this he should make the final.Very fast from the gate.LiGlad looks pretty fast though.Only one fall spoilt his afternoon

  8. Watching german tele over the last couple of days there were 2 programmes on dangerous sports. One programme had a short section on US indoor Ice speedway. The other had sections on swamp racing, hill racing, drag bikes and a piece on i guess the US championships from Sacremento a few years back.Won by Billy Hamill,i think(couldn't hear it because of the kids ),but there was a piece on Rachelle Kerr. She had what looked like a bad accident when she fell and another rider went straight into her back.Guess she is the sister of Chris.Anyone have any info on her.Is she still racing?Tried a search on here but came up with nowt, but i'm sure there was at least one thread about female riders
  9. Indeed, but wasn't he saying just a few weeks back that he didn't want to be coming 14th,15th or 16th in the GP's?Must own up to just seeing the headline and not bothering to translate it.But i can't see him ever being more than just that. Again, good to see a couple of Brits make it.Also happy for Charlie to get through after all the problems with selection at the start of the season.Well done to Smoli as well
  10. I thought that might be your opinion garf. Must say Charlie when he is on form is one of my favourite riders.Trouble is whenever i have seen him he always seems to have at least one heat when his bike packs up!That can be a liability with this format. My guess is Charlie is in because of Reading being the track for the last 2 meetings.Tough decision to make, who to leave out
  11. Should we start calling out manager Mystic Meg Middlo
  12. I can think of one forumite who probably isn't happy with that line-up But agree with both points.Just think what Denmark could have been like had Jesper been able to participate with the form he was in.Hope i'm wrong but GB look to melike they will struggle to get second place
  13. You'll have to get along to Poole in a couple of weeks time.He will be doing the TRick & Young Guns meetings
  14. 15. Think she would prefer to type philcrumpranovermyuncleshead
  16. The way i saw it was that he was doing Poland a favour by going for the Norwegian nomination, thus freeing up a place for another Polish rider. If he had decided to go the Poland route,it had its obvious pitfall that he might have failed in the qualifier rather than the secure route through Norway.I was thinking that maybe the Polish federation had suggested this to him.
  17. But will they.It might be that for certain Championships there just ain't many takers. This sort of meeting isn't likely to attract a great crowd in Poland or Denmark.Maybe Sweden .If it was in GB would it attract a big gate?Especially seeing as only one Brit has qualified(if you are saying there shouldn't be a wildcard).Maybe these things are always in Italy,Hungary, etc is because they pay for it.I know there have been similar questions raised on the German forum and that was the answer given, that german promoters don't want the meeting. It could be that these promoters have the power to demand a wildcard because of the lack of enthusiasm/competition elsewhere.
  18. I still think Nicki can do it.I agree that if Hans gets in(which he should) and maintains this seasons form he should be a top contender, but Nicki is Denmarks no.1.No doubt in my mind.
  19. Good win for Antonio.Unlucky for Hougaard losing out in the run-off to Troy, after coming in at the last minute.
  20. There will also be live updates here if any other updates have problems
  21. You can pick 2 more from the last quali. I would guess any 2 from Smoli,Dryml and Ruud.In fact i could see all 3 qualifying before one of the Brits. Must also say i'm surprised that Mikke Bjerk can get into this competition.Ithought all federations were to be realistic in their nominations.Seen him in the Danish 1st Division and he is a conference level rider imo.If Norway haven't a better rider then another federation should have been given the spot.
  22. Yeah,Sorry, that's what i meant The"GP" style totals from Outrup + points from Holsted. My poor english
  23. A very poor decision for Jonas then! A pity we missed each other.Another time. Can you confirm something garf. The way i understand it the totals will be added from this meeting and the 20 qualifying heats from Holsted to decide who goes into the A Final, etc. So for instance Kenneth doesn't have to finish in the top 4 next time to qualify for the A Final. Then whoever wins the A Final is Danish Champ, regardless of totals
