  1. Slabon still rides a lot. Both in Poland and Sweden. He did ride a few meetings last year in Germany and looked good at that level.Never going to be a top rider, but entertaining never the less.
  2. Think the second sentence says it all. What did/would those 2 do?Thing is there are very few riders not in the series that would do well.He qualified through the system so no complaints, but to think he will do well. Can't see much chance of that
  3. No Pinny Ulrich lost to Krister Jacobsen.Henrik's only defeat was to Ulrich. Both looked very good.Coming from last place to win,in Henrik's case.He looks fit and happy.Spoke to him after and he would like to get back over, but no-one has contacted him And i think most of them are meeting again today in Korskro.Hope they have calmed down a bit Some pics here
  4. Guess it depends on whether Gollob no.2 is part of the deal or will it be a parting of the ways
  5. Patrick was amongst those in front of the ref shouting, yes garf.I don't know his family so i can't say.But luckily there were one or two people that kept it all under control and got them off the track. There was more shouting in the pits but i don't know what that was as there was a lot of Psyching up going on.I did see René storm straight through the pits to his van though Like i said,it was building up throughout the meeting.René beat Steffen in a previous heat and while René wanted to shake hands Steffen done a fast broadside past him
  6. Holsted 30 U.Østergaard (3,3,3,2,3)14 D.Søderholm (2,F.x,1,1)4 C.Vissing (3,2,F.x,3)8 T.Pedersen (0,1,2,1)4 Vojens 26 M.Greve (e.f,2,2,2,0)6 K.Pedersen (2,3,2,2,1)10 H.Bos (1,1,2,2)6 M.Ebaek (1,F,3)4 Glumsø 25 M.Quistgaard (0,0,1,F.0,1)2 H.Vedel (2,3,3,3,3)14 C.Lauridsen (1,2,3,0,2)8 J.Quistgaard (1,0)1 Esbjerg 19 Kr.Jacobsen (3,2,F.x,1,3)9 T.Georgsen (2,0,0,0)2 J.Kikkenborg (3,0,1,0)4 B.Nilsson (0,1,F,3)4 80cc A real tough battle this one between,i think the 3 best teams. Esbjerg 30 M.J.Jensen 11 N.Porsing 10 Vojens 29 +3 M.Melchiorsen 8+3 R.Bach 10 Holsted 29 +2 R.Jensen 10+2 M.Vissing 10 Outrup 14 S.Andersen 10 Some very hard riding and a few fueds going on maybe.Vojens a bit unlucky losing points to e.f's and René Bach hit the deck twice in the last heat.Second time he was excluded,and there followed lots of shouting and screaming at the ref and Steffen Andersen.
  7. I am waiting for the interview with Napoleon
  8. Is this Dr Belton a psychiatrist by any chance?.
  9. Well like i mentioned a while back the Russians had a meeting with JP as they are building a new stadium, which could host a GP,so they hope
  10. I wonder how they pronounce Ballacks first name over there. Is it Mee-kay-el or the english My-kal
  11. Surely there is no need to call inhabitant of Wallonia foreign. That goes without saying, unless you live in Belgium?
  12. Well it sometimes turns out as a mix between german and english
  13. Not anything to do with Gollobs points total?
  14. results from Holsted web site N.Klindt Patrik Hougaard Klaus Jakobsen Kenneth Hansen Dannie Søderholm Claus Vissing ? ? Leon Madsen J.Graversen P.Juul T.Pedersen M. Ebæk Kr.Jakobsen S.Frahm K.Arendt M.Georgsen Not sure who finished 7th and 8th.Sounds like a bad crash with Anders Andersen and Jonas Raun involved. With Jonas going to hospital with shoulder injuries. His season over.Like i say my Danish isn't too good.Sure garf or Peter S will know more.Hope it isn't as bad as it sounds
  15. In all honesty i didn't think he was refering to Moggo.Like you,i just can't see how he could be.Maybe you and shazzy have the wrong end of the stick and the guy is actually meaning this is one meeting that is deserved, rather than some of the more high profile riders getting a testimonial. But i can't speak for him.Just my take on what he posted. Can someone elaborate on what happened with Moggo and Stoke.Tried searching but all the links for Stoke forums seem dead and the Stoke BBC site says Moggo was unavailable for comment. Great servant to speedway and if anyone deserves such a meeting Moggo does
  16. Rob started it,not me.Honest Shazzy I see she has joined us
  17. Yes Rob.But it is his league form everyone is raving about and saying he should be in the GP's because of it.Also part of the problem was that he wouldn't commit to going further in the qualis, wasn't it?
  18. If the stats are right and i am no stats man.He is 27th in the Ekstraliga and 24th in Sweden. Maybe all put together he is amongst the best 15(we do need a wildcard i guess),but the fact remains he didn't even try to qualify.Give the places to the best who have gone through the process of competing against each other through the system
  19. I'm with scb, garf, sulli and to an extent even Shovlar. Why should we be talking about Loram for Richardson?.Loram hasn't gone into the quali's.He didn't go face to face with the others that wanted to get in.If the Brits fail to get through in Vetlanda and they don' qualify automatically i think they should at least lose one place,so that probably means only Scott. What i would like to see though is if a rider outside of the GP's is showing obvious World class form(like Hans at the mo) there should be a way of getting him in.That may be Loram next year,it might even be Lee or Peter Karlsson......whoever.The best should be there regardless of nationality,no quotas
  20. I'm with you as well garf.If anything it should be moved into speedway general discussions. It isn't about results or info from speedway around the world. But the problem has been noted by some involved and is "work in progress".It is a bit annoying to only see a games headline any time you log on and any post on other topics is quickly buried by another post asking if anyone want to play a game.
  21. result from Holsted web-site Holsted 64 point Nicki Pedersen 14+1 Henrik Møller 12+1 Niels Kr. Iversen 17+1 Patrick Hougaard 8 Claus Vissing 6+2 Jonas Raun 7 Brovst 35 point Robert Koschiecha 14 Stephan Katt 8+1 Matthias Kröger 5 Lars Hansen 6 Simon Frahm 0 Steven Andersen 2 Brovst line-up quite different from that given on the DMU site
