It is an english thing Ian.Even the great W.Shakespeare is known to have spelt his name at least 6 different ways

Yes Danil was expected to be there. Not sure what happened but a few did have trouble getting there and were late for practice. Then again i would have thought the brothers would travel together. But maybe jumping to the wrong conclusion on that.I did see that Amazaspyan is a youngster new to the sport from nearby(1000km)Vladivostok.And the young German Russian Tschastchin again made the long trip for some early season practice. Anyway we might have a couple of chances to meet this seasopn as i have just booked a trip to Assen And thinking about Inzell, but that is probably unlikely Also just seen the draw for the q.finals of the Russian Championship.Very interesting.Includes...... Novosibirisk I.Ivanov D.Ivanov V.Khomitsevitch D.Khomitsevitch P.Tschajka Baraboshkin Polikarpov and the youngish speedway/ice speedway rider Laguta Shadrinsk Krasnikov Drozdov Makarov Drogalin! Ufa Bulankin Shishegov Samorodov Zakharov Sterlitamak Bogdanov Lumpov Arkhipov Lushnilov Bazeev Tschapalo Mustafin

German entrants for the World Championships here.Robert Eibl will not be riding this season due to finances .Young Max Niedermaier Jr in Nikulin????
-
Also interested in the U16's.Was the youngster Sam Masters riding? He was a live wire in Denmark.Very talented and proved the Danes wrong when they gave the kids from Oz no chance

No,i don't think so either, just won't be challenging for the title. The main thing like you said before was to stay within the allowed budget. You'll have to hope that Jagus has a very good year and is not taking on too much with the GP's as well and doesn't get demoralised if it doesn't go well.Hope Morten and Eric have a good season. And i thought Buczkowski looked good when i saw him in Denmark
-
Sorry to say this Mikael, but Smederna don't look very strong to me!
-
Like i said a couple of years back when i saw this coming.Just wish a german promoter had made the move to join.
-
Good to see Darcy going well.Impressed with him and Robert Medson in the 80cc World Champs this summer.

500 Or 250 For 2007 Championship ?
iris123 replied to morganbike's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Not so sure on that.I think Denmark and Sweden are not convinced that 250s are the way to go.Latest news seems to suggest they are looking into it,but ain't convinced.Think there won't be any Individual or Nordic 250 Championship next year -
Revised line up for the Sanok Cup here.Seems if all goes well the promoters want to hold a round of the Golden Spike series next year. Next weekend in Blago the Khomitsevitch and Ivanov brothers will be up against Krasnikov among others
-
Well top 3 qualified, but all the way down to Ferjan at no.10 are involved to an extent that they are reserves.Stead didn't even manage that and finished 11th
-
Euro Championships will be in Lukhovitsy,Russia 30.01-04.02
-
So,get the GP back in London. It's the only place the Welsh have ever been succesful
-
Aah,but who is the greatest ever?Trick or Mauger or Fundin?
-
That's it SCB.And just to bring in another.......i think the GP should be moved to London
-
Rabs,it's bad enough Subedei starting off another one of these threads without you antagonising the Loram camp on here It's like Groundhog Day here sometimes
-
And i guess they can expect a further drop in attendances now Rickardsson has retired
-
The drop in attendances must be worrying though?Seems Smederna have lost a lot of support, but Swedish speedway overall has lost a lot the past year or so

500 Or 250 For 2007 Championship ?
iris123 replied to morganbike's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
But will we?Seems the Danes for example are quite happy with the 80cc set up.They have the small tracks which teach the youngsters throttle control etc,and have proven results. Why would the other countries change their system to suit Britain? Is it worth Denmark having 50cc,80cc and 500cc leagues as well as starting a 250cc one as well? -
The good news for the new season is the battle for power between the Russian federations has been settled and the MFR have control. So hopefully we will see all the top riders in the WC this year
-
And the German Championship will be held the day before

Hi Peter, Is there anything happening with the 250cc class next year? -

Not really.I would say 14,but he looks younger. Can take a look on my webshots.Think there are one or two pics. They all look young, but Michael looks younger than most.Certainly a very good prospect though
