They say the because of the rain during the week they track was quite bare. Shale has been washed away

Think 1,000 for Güstrow Euro U19 meeting and 500 for Brokstedt junior meeting yesterday
-
Germany or a German promoter/club are hsrdly going to finance a meeting they aren’t in. Probably no promoter in any country would
-
Well that could be in with their speedway youth world championship coverage, being cynical. Could run a little training school added on with a couple of star riders and they have done their part. It is something the FIM already do. Otherwise I wonder how they will invest in worldwide grass roots speedway.........

Could the weekend be in danger from an emergency state being called tomorrow, maybe ? Czech have the 2nd biggest rate per population in Europe atm https://www.google.com/amp/s/112.international/society/czech-government-plans-to-impose-emergency-state-due-to-covid-19-55143-amp.html https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thejakartapost.com/amp/news/2020/09/29/czechs-slovaks-to-declare-coronavirus-state-of-emergency.html

2020 FIM Long Track
iris123 replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Grasstrack, Sidecar, Short Track and Cycle Speedway
It was. But because the FIM wanted to try and broaden the popularity they changed the rules. I think maybe from memory Gollob was at first mooted as possible wild card. But not too sure now after all these years Ine of the local tracks to me, Mulmshorn I think is 500m and another Scheessel is 1,000. Also another that is rarely used Hechthausen is fairly small Not too sure there was a lack of 1,000m tracks, maybe more a lack of those that wanted to host a GP. I think Parchim almost went bust hosting one -
From the bits I have seen it was fairly wet, but at least the race I saw, the track looked in good condition with a close race and some passing

2020 FIM Long Track

Been held there before. Attempt to make the sport popular in Poland https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_Individual_Long_Track_World_Championship -
Not going myself, but hope the weather holds out for all those starved of speedway this years, as the rain is due to come around 3 and stay for the evening. I know they have the track covered though
-
Yes, the Danes and of course the Germans know the track, but while I think the Danes won a 4tt on 250cc a couple of weeks back, the Poles are normally better at this age, in strength

I haven’t seen anything to suggest it will be postponed again.
-
Sweden Philip Hellström- Bängs, Noel Wahlqvist and Casper Henriksson Seems there must have been a relaxation of crowd restrictions, because last night another 300 tickets went on sale
-
Latvia will be represented by Daugavpils riders Francis Gusts, Ernest Matjusonoks, Ricards Ansviesulis

Lamber future in the Polish ExtraLeague 2021
iris123 replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Wouldn't be too clever basing your career around where your girlfriend comes from. This time last year wasn't his girlfriend from Germany ? -
I met him some years ago when he was on official FIM duty at the Ice speedway in Inzell. A lovely guy and of course I saw him in his riding days. Great rider as well

Not sure why you are being abusive. I have explained my confusion and you have clarified the situation. As far as I am concerned the matter is closed That type of language will only earn you yet another ban I fear
-
Forgive me for not knowing what you consider to be ‘ involved in speedway’ my understanding would be an assignment to take photos as being involved, so I am sure my confusion is easy to comprehend. But I do thank you for clarifying to my satisfaction your own personal stance on the matter. It is clear now

German Bundesliga fixtures 2020
iris123 replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
Not Bundesliga, but my local track, Brokstedt at least have a junior meeting on the 03.10 with a crowd of 500 on a first come, first served basis starting at 10:00. As long as the weather is fine, might go, as it is probably my best chance of a meeting this season -
Relax, How am I supposed to second guess what you mean ? You have now clarified the situation that although you don’t recall having anything to do with speedway after about 1962 you did attend and take photos for a job assignment
