  1. Wasn't it the case the other year when he pulled out and Austria couldn't field a team. Then we had the "Europe select" team and Austria were left out last year.Zorn doesn't seem interested in this one
  2. Yes i stayed on for a bit as well.Thought the cartoon advert wth the woman chopping the vegetables was great.Just like we had back in the 60s or 70s.And the woman jumping up and down on the bed
  3. Lets hope it isn't too serious. Was really surprised at the quality of the pictures yesterday. What a great service that is.Pity none of the german channels seem to do anything similar,as i missed the report from Inzell on tv. Franky has a chance of making the A Final.Only Arkhipov a real threat in his heat
  4. Sure you are right on that.Just still strange that Posa was introduced to the crowd on the parade then on going back to the pits was checked by the Doc.Maybe you are right with the "mind games" bit Edit:Just seen it posted on the Russian forum, that Bulankin has broken "Cervical vertebrae" is the translation
  5. Day 2 Krasnikov-3,0,2,3,3=11 Skabraut(A)-0,2,1,1,0=4 I.Ivanov-3,3,3,3,3=15 Simon(A)-0,Ex,0,0,0=0 Bogdanov-3,3,3,2,1=12 Bauer(Ger)-2,Ex,1,1,0=4 Aakko(Fin)-1,1,0,0,0=2 A.Klatovsky(Cz)-0,1,1,2,1=5 Niedermaier(Ger)-0,1,0,0,1=2 Tuinstra(NL)-1,0,2,0,2=5 Baltachev-2,1,1,3,1=8 D.Ivanov-2,2,3,1,2=10 Zorn(A)-1,3,2,2,3=11 V.Khomitsevitch-2,2,3,3,3=13 Svensson(Sw)-1,2,2,2,2=9 Arkhipov-3,3,0,1,2=9 A Final I.Ivanov Bogdanov Krasnikov Khomitsevitch B Final Zorn D.Ivanov Svensson Arkhipov C Final Baltachev Klatovsky Tuinstra Skabraut D Final Aakko Niedermaier Simon Bauer so no Posa or Bulankin:unsure: Niedermaier out on Bulankins bike in heat 31(it did not help.Is the comment on the forum)
  6. As long as the place has 5 or 6 pubs you are laughing.I stayed in Dortmund years back when Celtic played there and had a great time. There was a typical German town square with pubs around it(full of Celtic supporters )At first Dortmund didn't look that nice(it probably isn't the place for sight-seeing),but once you get into a couple of pubs and get chatting to the locals,we had a super time.In one we got into the pub about 1 or 2 in the afternoon and didn't come out till about 4 the next morning. The woman running the place even cooked us a dinner
  7. Here Saw the name the other day,and thought "no,can't be anything to do with Zenon".But i knew Zenon was also involved with Gdansk,so.....
  8. Was a fairly easy win.Bauer looks sluggish. In some heats he was in the points for a lap or 2 but looks like he hasn't the strength.Antti looks a good bet to stay in.Still a question if Posa will be in tomorrow or not Yes,Conkers. They said on the Russian forum it will be both days on this channel. Not sure of the time though Edit: Just checked.Same time as today for 2 hours again
  9. Yes,they both took him well. And what a close finish
  10. I missed that bit.I was just wondering how he came from so far back to win.Could well have done the line he was taking compared to Franky
  11. Its only the parade and intros at the mo,Conkers. You haven't missed a heat Looks like they are showing everything,"as live". Thats weird!!!!They just announced Posa.He was on the parade
  12. I have just found this No idea if it is live(although it says so),nor when the programme should start.I just clicked on the top link and am now watching Russian folk singing on "real player".Supposed to be from 19:30-21:30.But not sure when that is yet our time.By my reckoning we have an hour and half till the programme should start
  13. Any news on Posa,Tomaz? Also they were saying the meeting will be on Russian tv.Do you know if we can get this online?
  14. Also interesting to see a familiar name appearing.Kristian Plech.Son of the great Zenon, is a junior at Gdansk
  15. Thanks Arnieg.I knew someone here would be able to solve this one:D
  16. Recently answered a call for Newcastle photos, and supplied a team pic from 1987. There was one rider who i couldn't identify and was later told it was Bobby Duncan.A rider i have no recollection of.Neither had Dantodan Anyone got any more info on him?Was he just a local rider from an away track drafted in for one meeting, maybe?Frigbo?KevH? I know you both have fairly good records on this sort of thing
  17. Day 1-Ufa(updates from Russian forum) Krasnikov-3,2,3,2,3=13 Skabraut(A)-1,2,1,1,0=5 I.Ivanov-2,3,2,3,3=13 Simon(A)-0,2,0,3,0=5 Bogdanov-3,3,3,2,2=13 Bauer(Ger)-1,0,0,1,0=2 Bulankin-2,2,3,Ex,2=9 A.Klatovsky(Cz)-0,1,1,0,1=3 P.Serenius(Sw)-Non starter!?(only translation:"Serenius they did not allow"!) Tuinstra(NL)-1,1,1,0,0=3 Baltachev-2,1,1,2,1=7 D.Ivanov-3,3,2,3,1=12 Zorn(A)-2,1,2,3,2=10 V.Khomitsevitch-3,3,3,1,3=13 Svensson(Sw)-0,0,0,2,2=4 Arkhipov-1,0,2,1,3=7 ....................... Niedermaier(Ger)-0,0,0,0=0 Aakko(Fin)-1=1 A Final I.Ivanov Krasnikov Bogdanov Khomitsevitch-Ex B Final Zorn D.Ivanov Bulankin-Ex Arkhipov-ef? C Final Svensson Simon Baltachev Skabraut D Final Aakko Bauer Klatovsky Tuinstra Not looking good for the non-Russians.Only Zorn really threatening.Gave Bulankin a hard race.Dmitriy only winning in the last few metres. Big clash in heat 13.Bulankin and Khomitsevitch fell.Bulankin excluded.Danil Ivanov wins the re-run in front of Krasnikov and Vitali
  18. Thanks. But no need. All you have to do is click on the DSL link provided and there are the squads under "Klubber".And in more detail than your link
  19. Is Katajisto still going to be riding in Sweden?Wasn't he with Smederna last year in the 80cc?
  20. Yes,i was going to ask about him. Some info?
  21. Would have been a good crowd as well. Anyway having seen the squads what are you predictions for the season?Slangerup look very strong, especially in the A + B rider department, with Harris,Walasek,Risager,K.Hansen,Aldén to back up Jesper.Even Vedel and Lowicki as C riders .Holsted look as strong in the A + B section. In fact some of the B section look very good.Depends how often Nicki is available really, but look weak in the C or D department.Brovst and Esbjerg look good as well.Good to see Hefenbrock in.Plus good to see some of the Swedish youngsters included.L.Lindgren + Gustafsson. And so many meetings(on so many days) to choose from.Think i might have to buy a tent and camp out in Denmark for the summer
  22. Here Good to see the Gold Trophy back in Denmark again.Plus the Junior Team WC
  23. Ain't got a clue Jim.But i did spot the fact that there were 16 globe bibs and one Southampton so thought the guy(didn't know it was Vandenburg)was the meeting reserve. And therefore the track was Southampton. Was it by any chance a qualifier for the Wills Internationale?Did they have qualis at first?Thats the best i can do
