  1. Any news on Posa,Tomaz? Also they were saying the meeting will be on Russian tv.Do you know if we can get this online?
  2. Also interesting to see a familiar name appearing.Kristian Plech.Son of the great Zenon, is a junior at Gdansk
  3. Thanks Arnieg.I knew someone here would be able to solve this one:D
  4. Recently answered a call for Newcastle photos, and supplied a team pic from 1987. There was one rider who i couldn't identify and was later told it was Bobby Duncan.A rider i have no recollection of.Neither had Dantodan Anyone got any more info on him?Was he just a local rider from an away track drafted in for one meeting, maybe?Frigbo?KevH? I know you both have fairly good records on this sort of thing

Big clash in heat 13.Bulankin and Khomitsevitch fell.Bulankin excluded.Danil Ivanov wins the re-run in front of Krasnikov and Vitali
  6. Thanks. But no need. All you have to do is click on the DSL link provided and there are the squads under "Klubber".And in more detail than your link
  7. Is Katajisto still going to be riding in Sweden?Wasn't he with Smederna last year in the 80cc?
  8. Yes,i was going to ask about him. Some info?
  9. Would have been a good crowd as well. Anyway having seen the squads what are you predictions for the season?Slangerup look very strong, especially in the A + B rider department, with Harris,Walasek,Risager,K.Hansen,Aldén to back up Jesper.Even Vedel and Lowicki as C riders .Holsted look as strong in the A + B section. In fact some of the B section look very good.Depends how often Nicki is available really, but look weak in the C or D department.Brovst and Esbjerg look good as well.Good to see Hefenbrock in.Plus good to see some of the Swedish youngsters included.L.Lindgren + Gustafsson. And so many meetings(on so many days) to choose from.Think i might have to buy a tent and camp out in Denmark for the summer
  10. Here Good to see the Gold Trophy back in Denmark again.Plus the Junior Team WC
  11. Ain't got a clue Jim.But i did spot the fact that there were 16 globe bibs and one Southampton so thought the guy(didn't know it was Vandenburg)was the meeting reserve. And therefore the track was Southampton. Was it by any chance a qualifier for the Wills Internationale?Did they have qualis at first?Thats the best i can do
  12. Danish Speedway League has a new web-site.And all the fixtures are on it!! DSL Not sure if there is a mistake or not though. No meeting on the day after the Copenhagen GP!Maybe the fixture on the 13th should read the 10th.So it is Slangerup v Fjelsted the day after? :unsure:Maybe Peter S can confirm. Also see the price for every meeting is set at 80Kr(inc programme)
  13. Well it is not quite so early here as it is for you.And with 3 kids,it's not so easy to sleep in anyway And i see according to speedway.org,Baltachev had an e.f in his last heat
  14. No problem N=Non starter A=(Ausfall)...E.F in english S=(Sturz)....Fell D=(Disqualifiziert).....Disqualified And good news f-s-p.At the mo Aakko is unbeaten after 2 rides Simon(A)-2,2,2,2,2=10 Chapalo-1,0,1,0,0=2 Karpukhin-0,3,1,0,3=7 Aakko(Fin)-3,3,1,3,1=11 Lushnikov-3,0,3,1,3=10 j.Klatovsky(Cz)-0,1,0,0,1=2 Koij(Sw)-1,2,0,0,1=4 Tuinstra(NL)-2,1,0,2,1=6 Zelepukhin-0,1,2,2,2=7 Kononov-3,3,2,2,3=13+2 2nd Kamalov-1,1,1,1,0=4 Serenius(Sw)-2,0,2,3,2=10 Baltachev-3,3,3,3,0=12 3rd A.Klatovsky(Cz)-1,2,3,1,2=9 Kreklau(Ger)-0,0,0,1,0=1 Khomitsevitch-2,2,3,3,3=13+3 1st .................... Akimenko Tschatschin Baltachev mucked that last heat up.Finishing last behind Jan Klatovsky,who had only 1 point up till then.
  15. I agree with Tomaz.Maybe he fell and was disqualified, but i am sure it says he fell on the Russian site.Unfortunately they give no other info as to why he never took any further part in the meeting.Just a bit of squabbling about Khomitsevitch which i don't understand.More internal politics i fear
  16. Meeting is underway and the line-up is: Kononov-3,3,3,3,3=15 Baltachev-2,3,3,3,3=14 Divis(Cz)-0,0,0,0,1=1 Tschatschin(Ger)-1,3,2,1,0=7 J.Klatovsky(Cz)-2,2,2,2,1=9 P.O.Serenius(Sw)-3,2,2,2,3=12+2 O.Dosaev(Ukr)-1,-,0,1,0=2 Halsall(GB)-0,0,1,0,0=1 Lehtinen(Fin)-0,-,-,-,-=0 R.Akimenko-3,0,3,1,1=8+1 V.Tschapalo-2,2,0,2,2=8+2 J.Saetre(Nor)-1,1,0,0,0=2 R.Stellingwerf(Nl)-1,1,1,1,2=6 D.Karpuchin-3,1,3,2,3=12+3 A.Weber(Ger)-0,1,1,0=2 M.Zelephukin-2,2,1,3,1=9 ------------ A.Safin-0,2,2=4 D.Khomitsevitch-3,3,2=8+3 from Kdimon on the russian forum
  17. I think you underestimate speedway fans Gary.I think we remember fondly all the old guys, especially those that lost thier life on the track or during their career I remember seeing Gary at Plough Lane for Wolves.Still have his autograph
  18. Most of the Bundesliga squads are now complete.Or as complete as they get until someone can't do a meeting and a new squad member is added at the last minute.I hope it stays fairly stable and not like a couple of years back when some teams had 2 or 3 new riders every meeting Anyway Joonas + Henning are back for Brokstedt.I guess as cover for Matten who as Brokstedt have 3 meetings early on will miss most of the season.Manuel Hauzinger signed for Pfafenhofen and Okoniewski back for Neuenknick alongside Kevin Wölbert.
  19. Didn't Klatovsky start as reserve last year but once he got a chance he stayed in
  20. Yes he did ride for Brokstedt in the 2.Bundesliga last year. That league has been scrapped for this year though,so i don't know if or for who he will ride.He hasn't been mentioned for Brokstedt so far,but now Matthias Kröger is looking like he will be out for a bit they need someone. Not sure if Christian fits the bill though
  21. He is a bit of a "Jack of all trades".Pretty good on the Ice and i think indoor speedway. But i am not sure he does a lot of speedway more Longtrack & Grass Track.I think. Here is more info, plus a link to his web-site
  22. New web-site for the Euro Speed Cup competition.Here.Nicolai Klindt is also another to sign up Interesting in the article to see that they are looking to open up the competition to foreign teams and that they already have one team from Poland interested.
  23. They must be saying only 8 Russians are allowed to qualify!!!But that is a bit bad to let them have more riders in the quali rounds.Crazy stuff Still Klabo + Aakko get a chance

M.Niedermaier (Ger) A.Aakko(Fin) At least Bauer + Tuinstra made it through.Should help the attendance at Berlin at least. And what a fantastic second day Bazeev had.If he didn't have such a stinker on the first day, maybe Posa would have been in trouble
  25. Yes i think he is now the Danish 80cc coach.Last year he was helping out Sabrina Bogh. This year i think he is alone Not sure if i am correct on this but i thought i read that he might be riding again for Outrup this year. But not sure where or if what i understood was correct Any news on venues for the 80cc tests Mikael?
