  5. But that was probably taken from Nicki's site where it says he will see his physio(?) today to decide on the meetings in Sweden and Denmark tues + wed.So there is a possibility.Although i can see him sitting the week out until the Danish final friday
  6. That is definitely a Photoshop job,Mateusz Nicki wouldn't do a thing like that
  7. Yes f-s-p,that is exactly what it means.Although it would help if i had spelt it properly.Hale Stones One of the guys i know was there and said the ice stones were centimetres thick on the road as he was driving away.Got home and was very surprised to see that they had carried on with the meeting.I kept looking at the weather updates all day and decided not to travel as this sort of weather was forecast. But once it was too late for me,it brightened up here and i thought i made the wrong decision,as usual.Glad i didn't go know though Anyway it looks good for today if Joonas is in such good form. But Germany should have more strength in depth
  8. I thought it strange as well.I mean Lindbäck has his own thread. Then Jagus got his own at about the same time SCB done a Freddie thread. And tbh the Jagus thread started out asking the question that has been asked and answered about a hundred times in the last year of will he ride in the Elite league Someone obviously doesn't like Freddie
  9. Results from Pfingstpokal,Güstrow taken from inspeed.de Meeting stopped after 12 heats because of heavy rain and hailstones(result stands) 1. Kylmäkorpi 9 2. Hefenbrock 8 3. Alden 8 4. S.Andersson 8 5. Bager 7 6. Swist 6 7. Howe 6 8. Kroner 5 9. Hauzinger 4 10. Mell 3 11. Hougaard 2 12. Szatmari 2 13. Jablonski 2 14. Tob. Johansson 1 15. Bajerski 1 16. Re. v. Weele 0 Although speedway.org has the final positions somewhat different. Here The meeting was stopped after the first 4 heats as the rain and hailstones were very heavy.Seems around 70% of the crowd left at that stage, but they got the track in race condition(?) and ran a further 8 heats.Somewhere during this(probably in his first heat)it seems Joonas broke the 5 year old track record
  10. My condolences to everyone close to Michal RIP
  11. I agree with the others. There is an obvious difference between head injuries and bruises or broken bones. Not sure if the medics are allowed to give pain killing injections, but a rider will generally know if the pain is too much or not.But with a head injury the chances of a black out while on track are too much of a risk. And if a rider has vision problems then,well.....
  12. I did notice he had a couple of impressive meetings. He was the best Finnish rider at the YGT last year.I remember him and Palmi. He was riding for Smederna(?) in Sweden last year.Is he still doing meetings there?
  13. Well there was a thread doing just that last night, but was merged into this thread. I sort of congratulated him in the International section, where he has a new web-site mentioned. But i will take this opportunity to congratulate him properly.Well done Freddie and of course Leigh. And hope all the sore riders are back on track quickly.Especially and this is for my own selfish reasons Nicki. As i hope he will be riding wednesday for Holsted against Hans and his Fjelsted team. But then the important first leg of the Danish Final is also only days away
  14. Results of last night Auerhahnpokal,Teterow from inspeed.de 1. Ulamek 12 2. Ferjan 10 3. Louis 11 4. Hefenbrock 10 5. Klingberg 10 6. Zabik 13 7. Smolinski 11 8. Gjedde 9 9. Kylmäkorpi 7 10. Walasek 6 11. Howe 5 12. Schultz 5 13. Katt 4 14. Wölbert 4 15. Edberg 3 16. Watson 0 17. Tob. Johansson 0 Heat details Crowd unofficially reported as 7-8,000 Meeting at Güstrow friday cancelled because of bad weather .Just hope the meeting tonight in Güstrow goes ahead, but the weather is supposed to be bad again.Güstrow have spent a lot of money re-doing the stadium.New floodlights and terracing. They would be hard hit if two meetings, especially their big meeting of the season, are cancelled
  15. Nice one tommy. After tonight there should be plenty to put on the site
  16. He can actually .Given the amount of young Danes in Britain now,it can't be long before Leon comes over as well
  17. You might laugh, but i do believe that a few people wanted Leon Madsen as the Wildcard
  18. Yes.Sorry,i meant if he doesn't qualify(which looks likely)he shouldn't just be replaced by another Brit, unless one has qualified. So don't start the topic of "Who should replace Scott?"
  19. But please don't start the discussion about what Brit should replace him.Because unless one actually qualifies then none should
