You have more faith in your fellow countrymen than me Tobi can look good at times, but to me is very inconsistent.Facher did well in the Euro U19 meeting, but look at the scores of Facher,Demmel and Speiser in yesterdays Bundesliga. The competition in the Junior WM will be a lot harder than a Bundesliga meeting.Erik,Ramon and Dennis are too young and inconsistent at the moment.Think Erik rode well yesterday in Gorzow, but Dennis didn't and Ramon....i am never sure if he is a speedway or grasstrack rider. One of those german riders who try to do everything and end up doing none really well, maybe. But i know you was impressed with him at Rye House

29.09 I don't disagree. You look at the other semi and germany would probably get spanked by all those teams. My opinion is that they only have Kevin Wölbert who could mix it with the top guys and he is still only 17.That is the problem with this seeded placings for Finals
-
Here in Germany.Abensberg. A real pity as this year Germany has their worst Junior team for years The older guys like Hefenbrock,Schultz,Kroner and Smoli are gone and the new wave are mainly under 19.Too young
-
Main thing is we are through But i do feel a bit sorry for the teams in Poznan. There was definately an advantage being in this semi what with Hungary only fielding 3 riders(at home!).Should mean Czecho score more than the second placed team in Poznan even though they might be the better team Nice touch to give Ben Barker a heat when we were already through Have said before Zetters that i don't think Sweden are very strong at the moment.

Think you are a bit premature,or have you got all 20 heats up on your computer.
-
Yes,i seriously thought at one stage he wouldn't make the A Final. But once he is there anything can happen. Was a good meeting. Not that many passes, but lots of very close races. How did it look on the telly, garf? And any updates on the person taken to hospital?

Results from Bundesliga meeting,Landshut Landshut 39 C.Hefenbrock 15 J.Kugelmann 10 R.Speiser 6 H.Rudolph 6 S.Kurz 1 M.Kammermeier 1 Neuenknick 37 K.Wölbert 12 M.Nowacyk 10 M.Bartz 4 T.Busch 11 R.Swoboda 0 A.Ledwig 0 Pfaffenhofen 25+3 L.Szatmari 10+3 R.Schäfer 1 C.Demmel 4 R.Weis 5 M.Müller 3 F.Winklhofer 2 Olching 25+2 M.Smolinski 12+2 F.Facher 1 F.Wallner 4 D.Helfer 0 H-J.Müller 5 M.Betz 3 Apparently a bit of a mix up by the ref as all the teams and fans were on the centre for the presentations when one team protested about the points totals.The Ref then realised he had added the junior points up wrong and there needed to be a run-off for third place.So all riders and fans back to their places before the meeting could be finished Heat details

I will be surprised if all the Russians bother to travel for the semis.Just like it seems a few from other countries couldn't make the trip to Togliatti

Yes.Ideally we want to win this,as only the winners from each semi plus the best second place goes through to the Final.I guess if we can't manage to win then we have a good chance of getting more points coming(hopefully at least)second. In that other semi it looks like it will be so tight that they will all drop points to each other -
Nicki didn't look 100% fit.Certainly wasn't as dominant as last year. But he certainly saved the best till last.Hans was away and looked to have it sown up,but Nicki somehow finds this amazing speed.Just like last years A-Final he comes from way back.Must say NKI looked very good as well. The best performance i have seen him put in.Kenneth was really battling hard again. And some of the youngsters looked good.Who says Henrik can't gate? Patrick Hougaard,Nicolai and Leon Madsen put in a few good heats as well. Think that also means Bjarne,Puk,Kenneth and Jesper,Charlie + Henrik are the Danish nominees for the GP qualis Photos

2007 Swc - Who's In For Who?
iris123 replied to BigFatDave's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Isn't Laguta riding on a Latvian licence only?Think he comes from Vladivostock, but because of riding for Daugavpils rides on a Latvian licence. There was surprise when he didn't enter the Russian Ice Speedway Championship and there was a place in the World qualis for a Latvian.I think this was assumed to be Laguta, but he didn't enter on that either -
