  1. Heard news today that Michael Jepsen Jensen might not make it.He has a badly damaged knee. Will be going to Poland hoping to ride. But it might be down to the Doctor from what i heard
  2. Not by any chance related to either are you.Funny you joined the same day and seem to post on Dan + marc's threads Mods!!!!
  3. Is that on?Just thought i read Rybnik didn't have enough riders what with a few riding in the GP quali this weekend????
  4. Yes.Normally when a town is called Bad somethingorother,it means there is some sort of healthy water source(health Spa) that people do or used to go to for cures to various ailments .Not sure what Kev needs curing .I think
  5. Well "Bad" mean a place for bathing.Might be a good idea for Kev if you're implying he pongs a bit
  6. I will be there too.Just have to say where to meet and what time the Travel Tours Bus gets there Thought Kev was going to tell me the schedule.Did you arrange a trip to Bad Zwischenahn?
  7. Well i did partially answer this before in that Jagus + Holta entered the Polish qualification meeting but didn't get through.Well Jagus would have been in the meeting in Sweden last weekend as Pawel Hlib dropped out,but he was busy in Cardiff.Nicki + Hans must feel pretty safe,so that left Bjarne feeling the pressure.Hancock must feel safe as does Jason and Leigh.I guess Gollob feels safe or won't bother any more.Jonsson must be confident enough. That only really leaves Matej Zagar,Lindbäck + the Brits. Why they never entered is a mystery Maybe Matej feels safe as well,Lindbäck is a cocky bugger and .............
  8. Just remember no matter what happens.........he is a great bloke. All the riders love him.If you think you can do better...... I'm sure they are phrases we will hear from certain forumites soon enough. Let's hope that Bombers win in the GP inspires the whole team.If one or two of them can get out and win the first couple of heats that should hopefully get everyone motivated
  9. Have to admit that i never expected him to do half as well as he has done. But he has to be one of the most improved riders over the last year.I know that he rode one or two meetings in the Danish league last season and i heard great things about him then. Was chatting to someone from Slangerup(who have him in their squad this year)a while back nowsaying that he will probably be too expensive for them to use now.Hope not.Would love the chance to see him.Am even thinking of making the trip to Gorzow on sunday if he is in the Rybnik side That is how exciting the guy is
  10. Maybe. All i am saying is have a chat with the guy and see if there is anything of interest in what he says
  11. You might like to get in contact with one of our members.Peter S.His son is currently going through the junior ranks in Denmark.I think he has quite a bit of knowledge of the junior scene in Denmark. And apparently it was through the organisation and dedication of parents that got most of it up and running, not through the authorities
  12. The RAF were stationed in Germany up until a few years back. The RAF symbol is not banned or even seen as inflammatory And it is typical Shovlar, trying to get some negatives from a great weekend for British speedway And look at the main german speedway site to see what they put.....here
  13. Yes i was watching Ricky on this site from a meeting just over a week ago.But he is too young at 15 isn't he?
  14. I guess they only have the 3 that are over.Janniro,Kerr and the other one Plus Hancock + Hamill.Unless they bring over someone like Bobby Schwartz
  15. They failed to negotiate the polish qualifying meeting And when Hlib dropped out it was the GP weekend so Jagus couldn't step up and Ulamek was injured so Gapinski rode in Sweden and qualified
  16. Good points.I know when i talked to Morten Risager last year when he came back from his injury. He told me he had been practising pretty well every day for two weeks. That is how much track time is available to Danish kids if they have the time and money. That is why i laugh a bit at people who say foreign riders come over to Britain and we train them up.Most of the Danish riders who come over at 17 or 18 have maybe 10 years of speedway behind them at that stage. Also the track size makes a hell of a difference in learning the skills needed to be a good speedway rider. At some places they have 3 different tracks for the various age groups.I can compare the junior scene in Germany with Denmark. In Germany they mostly have the juniors(around the 8 year old mark)out on their 50cc bikes going round a 300m track! There is practically no racing involved, just kids going round a track on a bike. What they are learning is more usefull in Longtrack racing if anything. When you see the same age group on a small Danish track, these youngsters are racing. They are in close proximity to their opponent and their whole outlook and style is speedway racing on small bikes.A world of difference and it shows when they get older. Then by the time they are 12 or 13 and get on the 80cc bikes, well i would recommend to anyone who has the chance to go to one of these meetings. It really is mind blowing the skill these youngsters have at such a young age.It is no wonder that Denmark won the SWC + the U21 SWC last year. And there are more great youngsters coming through
  17. Maybe now he is at Poole he has the "Not really bothered about the Gps" mentality that Bjarne and Ed have?
  18. But everyone knows his attempts at wind-ups.Just who is he winding up? Same with his Nicki P blaming the track thread. You can see through the guy straight away
  19. There are still plenty of pirates out on the high seas Steve.Just look in the news
  20. Yes for us fans i think it was good.Just glad no-one got hurt.I mean looking at the Final Bomber nearly came a cropper twice in the same rut but he kept going But maybe from the riders point of view the smooth track at Parken was better.I think Johno on the radio was also mentioning the fact the track cut up badly quite a bit as well.
  21. To be fair even Crump did slightly criticise the track.Saying something like "Parken was smooth.I was hoping this would be the same. But it is the same for everyone" So maybe the riders were not too pleased, but naturally Nicki would be p'd off.Plus with his injury problems a track like that will give him trouble i guess
  22. We have had this already SS All i can say is that Chris has plenty of fans in Germany now and it doesn't seem like they have a problem. They mostly call him "Bomber" as well Chris Harris "Bomber" thread
