  1. Thanks for that Tarabanko.Good that the Blacksmiths are not in trouble financially, but with on track performances they must be thinking about changing the team around a bit And i thought you asked and were told where to find the results just a couple of weeks back Pollyanna!
  2. I did mention the attendances looked low for some of the Elitserien meetings before.Think it was only after the first 2 or 3 rounds though,so it was too early for any of our Swedish Members to really make a judgement. But have today seen the figures for some of the Clubs and there looks to be some concern Masarnas average 2001: 4512 2002: 4377 2003: 3860 2004: 3363 2005: 4742 2006: 2596 2007: 1501 ! Other clubs Indianerna 1264 Dackarna 1600 Smederna 1640 I know Tarabanko said this figure is above the break even figure for Smederna. But it does seem the trend for attendances to be dropping continues,at least at Masarna.Any informed opinions or maybe reasons given in the Swedish media? Are these figures reaching crisis point? Swedish article on Masarna Crisis
  3. Duncan Ferguson! What was he doing there?
  4. Apart from being in the wrong section, those scores don't add up
  5. Oh Nicki your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind.Hey Nicki, hey Nicki
  6. And again, with maybe some punctuation.Just so we can tell what you are on about
  7. Are you meaning just today(big meeting nerves, maybe)or the season so far?I mean he has been scoring impressively so is he always giving everyone a start and coming from behind? And that is a very impressive heat time from Nicolai when you compare it to the other heats
  8. Pretty good performance from Kalle considering he is only a few months into his 500cc career.Would have expected more from Jonas though
  9. I'll say 1.Nicki Pedersen 2.Hans Andersen 3.Greg Hancock 4.Kenneth Bjerre
  10. I just brought it up as the statement said he went "head first into the fence".Thought it might have helped, but don't want to take the thread off at a tangent
  11. This is just terrible news for the speedway world.Particularly everyone in Sweden. The issue of air fences has to be pushed through.I know some in sweden have been saying it is too expensive, but that to me is crazy. My thoughts are with Kenny and all who are close to him
  12. Why is there R/R for Hans?Is he injured? It's ok.Someone pointed me to the news that Hans has influenza and probably misses tomorrows meeting as well
  13. According to the site i looked at it is also the 23rd.Not sure why i put the 29th
  14. Any info on the Russian team Niklos. How old, which team they ride for?Emil is famous, but the others i don't know
  15. Don't know the actual riders nominated.But it was supposed to consist of 1 Aut(Schatzer) 2 Czech(Tomicek + Franc) 2 Hun 2 Lat 2 Pol(Jeleniewski plus i think Kuciapa) 3 Rus!!!!! 2 Slo 2 Ger
  16. You have more faith in your fellow countrymen than me Tobi can look good at times, but to me is very inconsistent.Facher did well in the Euro U19 meeting, but look at the scores of Facher,Demmel and Speiser in yesterdays Bundesliga. The competition in the Junior WM will be a lot harder than a Bundesliga meeting.Erik,Ramon and Dennis are too young and inconsistent at the moment.Think Erik rode well yesterday in Gorzow, but Dennis didn't and Ramon....i am never sure if he is a speedway or grasstrack rider. One of those german riders who try to do everything and end up doing none really well, maybe. But i know you was impressed with him at Rye House
  17. 29.09 I don't disagree. You look at the other semi and germany would probably get spanked by all those teams. My opinion is that they only have Kevin Wölbert who could mix it with the top guys and he is still only 17.That is the problem with this seeded placings for Finals
  18. Here in Germany.Abensberg. A real pity as this year Germany has their worst Junior team for years The older guys like Hefenbrock,Schultz,Kroner and Smoli are gone and the new wave are mainly under 19.Too young
  19. Main thing is we are through But i do feel a bit sorry for the teams in Poznan. There was definately an advantage being in this semi what with Hungary only fielding 3 riders(at home!).Should mean Czecho score more than the second placed team in Poznan even though they might be the better team Nice touch to give Ben Barker a heat when we were already through Have said before Zetters that i don't think Sweden are very strong at the moment.
  20. Think you are a bit premature,or have you got all 20 heats up on your computer.
