  1. And tommy was trying to persuade me to go to this one As long as the weather is fine tommy,i will be in Z.G for the Polish Championship semi final instead.Hope it is a bit cheaper to get in for that
  2. Take a look here.Sam impressed me last year and if what i heard that they have some bikes and have been practicing a lot more, then he must be a contender,as they say
  3. I generally look in,but let's be honest Finnish speedway is boring compared to German Plus people know i only post when there is some news, not just because a rider has got a cold or brought some new boots Can't believe you have worked that out though. And didn't Kalle do well?Did you explain what happened to Aarnio?
  4. I think they have made a bit of a reputation for themselves over the past few years.I remember a remark a one or two years ago from a Polish woman, when they were involved in a bit of bother, along the lines of "It's the Kasprzaks again"
  5. I tend to agree with Ghostwalker.I think the first 2 qualis are a lot weaker than the other 2.And what has happened to the US?The only rider they can enter is Matt Browne, who can hardly get a point in the Allsvenkan for team Bikab.Sad to see a former great speedway nation down to this level
  6. Dave you have missed out a qualifier that Todd Kurtz is in,plus the fact that Sam Masters is one of the riders seeded directly into the semis
  7. Well i will be at Skærbæk for the Final Thinking of going to Vojens this weekend for the Cirkus Arena Cup.Do you know the line-up peter?Any Slangerup riders there? All i know is Simon Fischer is riding
  8. No,he is being entered by Hungary, but he is still Slovenian.Same as Laguta i would think is still Russian but is entered by Latvia. As has been said many times Norway can enter who they want.A Chinese rider or a Peruvian.Still think the qualis look a bit unbalanced. And remembering the letter that was sent out to all the federations last year asking for "Riders of GP standard".Well a hell of a lot of these riders are nowhere near it and never will be
  9. Qualifiers from the Outrup Danish Championship 80cc semi 1. Mikkel Michelsen 2. Lasse Kragh 3. Jeppe Schmidt 4. Emil Grøndal 5. Mikkel B. Jensen 6 Simon Fischer 7. Anders L. Nielsen 8 Jacob Bukhave Reserve 9. Marc Randrup I think the Grindsted semi was cancelled and will be held on the 27th
  10. 29.09 in Wiener Neustadt. But i have been known to get thses things wrong

  13. Must say, first time i have seen Ed yesterday and was very impressed. He looks like he has the makings of a complete all round rider.Greased lightening out of the gate, but he was also battling away when Kenneth Hansen passed him. Some of the worlds top junior riders were left way behind him.If he can do that on a 300m track can't see why he shouldn't do the same on a Polish track.I guess a lot will depend on getting the set-up perfect for the first heat. You can't afford to get caught out and struggle, or get excluded
  14. Can't believe you spelt his name wrong Mikael
  15. Well there have been a few crowds of 1 or i think 2 thousand this year for the DSL.Plus last years Danish Final at Holsted was fantastic.6,000.But it seems you need Nicki for a really good crowd.Next months SWC should be different. But then the price is almost double
  16. Very good meeting apart from the accident with Nicolai. Not sure exactly what happened.Gomolski spun round and his bike went up.I was down the other end,nt sure if the bike hit Nicolai, but he straightened up to try and avoid Gomolski and went straight into the fence.Hope everything is ok.Very good meeting for Ed,Chris Holder and the surprise for me,Lewis. He should have at least been in a run-off for third with Morten, but cocked up his last heat while (i think)second.Great race between Kennett and Hansen.Kennett out of the gate but Hansen shot past him on turn 4.Ed came back and was pressuring Kenneth all the way and i think that caused Kenneth to lose control and slide off.Great start from Kevin Wölbert to beat Pavlic,Risager and Gustafsson.Pavlic was right behind and trying to pass, but overdone it and fell. Was also impressed with Simon Gustafsson.Looks like Sweden do have one or two youngsters for the future. Also great to meet Barney and Dave Kennett. Was walking round and heard a few loud english accents and went over.It was Barney and the rest of the Kennett fans with a banner.Barney was saying he wasn't sure the meeting would be on as it was pouring down all morning and into the afternoon. The bad weather probably kept the crowd down.It looked poor.About the same sort of crowd as a German 2nd Division meeting.I would guess 400!
  17. Have to say i was at Parken a couple of years back and saw a running battle outside after the meeting.Seemed like two groups of young blokes trying to kick the #### out of each other. It did seem the atmosphere was more like a football match.Nothing like a normal speedway meeting in Denmark at all

  19. There is talk of updates here.Should be under rennergebnisse, but could be under news. There is already a thread open for Vojens in the news section.Looking forward to it.Just hope the weather is ok as it isn't looking good so far.Was thinking of going up for todays practice session, but it is going to be bad today as well
  20. Here is a tip for the future then.Do a search of your posts about Swedish speedway(specifically in the International section )and you will quite easily find your post asking for a web-site showing Swedish results.Click on that and you will be in the thread where the answers were given.

Charlie Gjedde - 18p 2. Marcin Jedrzejewski - 10+3p 3. Nicolai Klindt - 15+3p (3,2',3,3,2',2') 4. Steffen B. Jespersen - 8+3p 5. Mike Bjørn - 5p Brovst Speedway Club: 28 1. Robert Mikolajczak - 8+1p 2. Stefan Katt - 4p 3. Lars Hansen - 6+1p 4. Mike Ebæk - 0p (udgik efter 2. heat) 5. Patrick Nørgaard - 10p
  22. I remember Arthur Ashby.Wasn't he the bloke with the thick glasses who always done some sketch about a Buzzy Bee and squirted water in peoples faces?
  23. Well i did see the price for the U21 was good, because i was looking at maybe going to malmö the same day and i am sure the price for that meeting was the same price or similar. And the Malmö meeting was a very junior, regional meeting.
  24. Not just in the mornings. But if someone asks a question and got at least 2 choices of site to look at,well........... I like it! Yes,that is better. And of course the injuries to Buczkowski and Jagus haven't helped. But some of the riders are not really performing to the standard you should expect. When i looked i think Smederna only had maybe 2 riders in the top 30 in the average list. Should never trust the media then i guess.Glad it isn't anywhere near as bad(if in fact it is at all bad)as they are making out. When i saw those figures yesterday i wondered if they had put the entrance prices up 50% or something
