  1. Well they are having cars racing round the place soon,so why not speedway bikes?
  2. The thing that really surprised me was his performance in the Longtrack GP.I had him down as the favourite for the title, now Barth has retired. That was a real dissapointment.I was hoping that a non-German would win this year. And i heard an interview with Robert on the Tele and he was hoping for the same.He tipped either Joonas or Theo Pijper
  3. Yes i agree. In fact i think this years top 3 teams will be at Vojens. That's how tough a meeting it is.Like i said, just wish that Russia would have been in this one as well as one or two of their riders could have caused a few upsets. Not sure any of the Finns will.Even Joonas is not going that well after his injury
  4. You have to admire the strength in depth of Denmark Just a slight worry that Bjarne is losing form.Hopefully not.But Niels has really impressed me this season on the couple of occasions i have seen him.Kenneth as well.
  5. Here. But i haven't even had time to look at them myself yet,so don't know what they are like
  6. I'm sure we will.Think KevH will tell me where you will be and what to look out for I thought it didn't look right when i typed it.Sorry
  7. With the Mr Snakette mob? No,it is good value for sure, seeing the standard of the line-up.Just more than i have paid for a speedway meeting in a few years I will be on the grassy knoll. Just a pity Germany or particularly Russia didn't also make it.Would have loved to see Sajfutdinov and a few of the others
  8. Thanks for the info.He was one of the guys i was hoping to see.maybe it's just a matter of thinking they are not going to beat Denmark in Vojens and saving him and maybe one or two of the others you have mentioned for later.Otherwise it is strange to leave out a fit Jagus
  9. I will be there as well.So will a few others from the forum 175kr! @Ghostwalker And i did wonder why Jagus isn't there. Are they expecting him to still be out injured i wonder?
  10. If he doesn't want to ala Nicholls,Lindbäck then there is not much they can do.Maybe he has been assured of a place. But if you look at the line-ups Kolenko and Carpanese are missing and are better than the riders who Italy and Slovenia have selected so i would think it 99% certain they are in
  11. Well there is only space for 4 as 7 qualify from each preliminary round.7+ a reserve. It would make sense if Bjarne,Greg + 2 home riders were seeded.
  12. Bjarne is deffo a seed And it would make sense if one home rider was seeded through as well.So Kolenko and Carpanese could very well be right. That seems the way things go nowadays. And i think Walasek did come in the qualifying places at the Polish Golden Helmet meeting and as he wasn't in the first round then it would make sense that he was seeded through Walasek seeded
  13. I would put Bjarne + Puk in the qualifying spots with anyone of about 5 riders getting the last place
  14. I see that Poland have annonced the Team for Vojens 1.T.Gollob 2.J.Hampel 3.R.Holta 4.G.Walasek 5.K.Kasprzak reserve D.Balinski Is that going to be strong enough to see off Denmark + Australia? Can't see them beating Denmark in Vojens to be honest. But come the Final?
  15. Yeah, sounds promising as long as it is speedway and not that Japanese version. But it sounds like "our" version if Ivan Mauger is involved.Good response from the youngsters and also trying to get street daredevils involved as well
  16. Not sure but don't think you will have much luck, what with it being SWC week. Polish calendar And to the left you can see the Ekstraliga,I Liga and II Liga.Click on "Terminarz" which are the dates of the league meetings
  17. Unfortunately the weather has won and tonights meeting between Team Germany,Team Scandinavia and Team Europe at Wittstock has been cancelled. I almost got caught in a torrential downpour.Just made it to the safety of the petrol station before the heavens opened Next weekend will hopefully see the latest round of the Eurospeed Cup at Stralsund. Stralsund P.Hougaard(Dk) R.Haupt T.Stange T.Busch R.Kowalski(Pl) M.Schultz D.Wienke(U21) Wolfslake R.Jamrozy(Pl) M.Bartz T.Schmid L.Kasperek K.Puodzuks(Lv) S.Mell E.Pudel(U21) Cancelled because of heavy rain this week!
  18. Does anyone know who apart from Bjarne is seeded into the semi's?
  19. I thought the updates were only for Motala, next weekend
  20. Well Jonsson is on Emils side,Schumi At least Zielona Gora won
  21. Does anyone know the full line-ups for the semis now.Particularly the Zielona Gora semi
  22. Mitch was born in Auckland,NZ.But i think grew up in Australia.Did first represent Australia and i think there was some trouble when he changed over to NZ. Pretty sure he was still riding in Oz last year
  23. I think Zielona Gora will be without the mighty Kevin tonight. So another reason i am glad i never went
  24. Now you're even pinching my news to boost your figures!!!! Seiously though. It is a bit disappointing that more don't look and comment on the various news threads from around the world.I have seen some people comment that they never look in this section. And then when a rider signs for a club you get people saying "Who is he?I've never heard of him!"When we have been reporting about these riders for years It was like that with Smoli + Hefenbrock. Will probably be the same if and when Kevin Wölbert signs
