Did see him earlier this year and i would be pretty sure he will be a good addition to the Aussie meetings.He has got some good reports from others on here who have seen him elsewhere.So like you say,good for the fans down under to see some up and coming guys.And also good experience for him as well,i am sure

Well i didn't have to queue to get in,so have no experience of that But i know the tokens from the Ice speedway in Assen.Luckily i got in early enough and got mine before the queues.But like you,if i saw a big queue for the tokens then i just wouldn't bother

I am sure they will have learnt some lessons.As for the security well it seems that the GPs attract the beer swilling rowdy element to an extent.I saw a bit of a scuffle afterwards and stopped at a petrol station round the corner where the police were in attendance.Got talking to them as i wanted directions There was a group of lads drinking beer there so i asked the policeman if there was a problem.His answer was "There was a motorbike event at the Arena.A few bloody noses,that's all".So maybe not on the level of a Schalke v Dortmund derby,but also not the response you would normally expect from a speedway meeting. As for the tokens,they are the system at a number of venues.Not that i like it

Yes,i just don't think the Slovenian GP is that important nor probably had Matej powerful enough sponsors to mean he is a must have.Being wildcard for Krsko is enough to ensure the crowd that goes.It is hardly a major GP and would probably get dumped if enough alternatives come up imo.

To be honest he takes a lot of stick but i doubt it can be easy doing these temporary tracks.As he was saying the moisture content is vital and in fairness these modern stadiums seem(ed) to have problems getting the grass to grow properly because of the strange micro-climate in a pretty well fully enclosed arena.Plus we hear about riders having trouble with set-ups because of cold/hot weather.The thing is it seemed like he got it perfect for the practice,but then on the day something went wrong.It is a learning curve and i guess he has more knowledge than anyone.If you get rid of Ole then the next person will be starting from scratch

Wonder what the rules state though if a rider is missing or injured during the meeting?Would have been a bit unfair if say Hampel was also on the same points or if Holta,etc had been injured during the meeting but still tied on points

From what i understand the $200,000 will be decided over 4 meetings.The 4 temporary tracks.So almost a mini-GP within the GP

He was asked again in the press conference after the GP and said the same.He would think about it over the winter.Also seems that neither Leigh nor Jason will be competing in Australia this winter.He seemed a bit down in the press room,but then AJ wasn't exactly ecstatic and he had just won the $100,000 Next year it will be $200,000,so maybe the winner will be a bit more excited

Well Egon Müller was on the North German channel(NDR) last month for about 30 minutes and gave the GP and other speedway events a good mention.Eurosport with Tobi Kroner showed the last GP live and gave numerous mentions and ads for the GP.Obviously the speedway mag(Bahnsport-Aktuell)has been running features and ads all year,i can only assume the other general mortorsport mag that features speedway(MSA)also has done similar.As for local cable channels or the main tv channel(WDR) i can't say,but have found nothing on the WDR teletext
