  1. Thought it a similar move to the one by Kenneth Bjerre that ended with a broken arm for Kosciecha.Like Nicki said,if it was anywhere else he might have thought about going down
  2. Can't see why Nicki will be upset with that performance.Couldn't have been much better for him
  3. Pretty boring GP,but that is par for the course. At least Nicki is doing the business yet again But it isn't dangerous,so i wouldn't call it appalling
  4. Aah,glad you liked my suggestion.Much better than a Michanek book, imo As for your opinion on Anders This is Olles opinion "I've always thought you are a mean b######,the meanest b###### i've ever met" Must say that i did like the interview with Anders in Backtrack. He did come across as almost likeable So i would also buy a book on Olle Nygren's career.Great man
  5. Like Matty says,Stralsund and Güstrow are about as far away from Munich as you can get. You'd be better off travelling to Austria or Slovenia But yes,the German speedway season always runs until October. You might be lucky next season. As the German Championship and the U21 Finals are in the north this year they should be in the south next. When and where though, it is far too early to say
  6. Danish 80 cc Final,Skærbæk T.Jørgensen (3,3,3,2,f.x)11 M.Salomonsen (2,1,1,0,3)7 E.Grøndal (R,1,1,2,1)5 J.Bukhave (R,f.x,2,2,0)4 L.Bjerre (3,2,3,1,2)11 A.Nielsen (f.0,R,2,-,-)2 N.Jakobsen (1,0,1,0,2)4 N.Porsing (2,3,3,1,1)10 R.Jensen (3,0,0,1,f.1)5 L.Kragh (f,2,f.x,0,2)4 J.Schmidt (2,2,0,2,1)7 S.Fischer (f,1,0,1,2)4 M.J.Jensen (2,1,3,3,3)12 M.B.Jensen (R,3,2,3,3)11 M.Michelsen (3,3,2,3,3,)14 M.Vissing (1,2,1,3,ex)7 M.Randrup (0)0 E.Nørret (0)0 Can't vouch 100% for the accuracy of the results.Got a bit confused at one point at least.But then so did the woman next to me A-Final M.Michelsen M.B.Jensen T.Jørgensen M.J.Jensen f.ex B-Final L.Bjerre M.Salomonsen N.Porsing f.1 J.Schmidt f.ex C-Final M.Vissing E.Grøndal R.Jensen J.Bukhave Thoroughly deserved win for Mikkel Michelsen.Was a bit lucky though as Mikkel B.Jensen was looking like the winner when Li glad and Thomas Jørgensen clashed and the A Final was stopped.Steady drizzle spoilt it a bit.The best heat for me was heat 5.Jepsen Jensen was leading then Lasse Bjerre passed him.Thomas Jørgensen came hard under Li glad and then chased after Lasse.Must have been inches in it but Jørgensen took Lasse on the line.Was impressed with Jørgensen.Disappointed in Jepsen Jensen Photos
  7. I remember Bob as a bit wacky.Probably only saw him the once(at least i only remember the one time)must have been 73/74.I was waiting in the pits outside the changing room with a mate getting autographs when he came out.Wasn't sure who he was(our plan was ,if they had wet hair, get an autograph )when he,for no apparent reason started calling me "the wizard".He even signed my book "To the wizard",which i still have. One of the riders and one of the incidents that will stay with me.
  8. Will be interesting to see how the youngsters get on.Will the EL boys dominate or will one of the others like Jonasson or maybe even Gustafsson win. Will be following Forsberg,Gustafsson and Dennis Andersson's scores closely. And what about the almost forgotten young star,Andreas Messing? Will he be on the rostrum.Has his progress slowed to an almost standstill? And when is the 80cc final.I see it is on the link, but no-one has mentioned it.Some of are interested in the 80cc guys as well Hopefully,if the weather is ok,i will be at the Danish 80cc final on sunday
  9. I am a member of both forums and also a Nicholls fan He is a exciting rider and we need as many as possible in speedway.I am though not a big fan of the GPs.I would much rather proper qualification rounds every year before the World Title is decided. If 6 or 7 riders from Poland or Denmark qualify then so be it.I don't like quotas. My opinions are not the same as those that run the Weird World, just as they are not the same as the people who run this forum.
  10. Not that hard.I would say Gollob,Jancarz and Plech are all better than Jerzy S
  11. Much rather read a book about Varg Olle Now i am sure he really has a few stories to tell. Was right there at the start of Swedish Speedway and is still involved in the sport today.Truly great rider/sportsman and one of the wildmen from Sweden
  12. Result ofyesterdays Ostseepokal in Stralsund from inspeed.de Final 1. Ferjan 2. Staszewski 3. Klingberg 4. Busch 5. Hougaard 6. Aldén (f.ex)
  13. K-P.Gerdeman won't be there f-s-p.The promoters are expecting him to pay for the travel costs out of his own pocket. While Matten will get his costs payed. So he has decided not to go That is what he has posted on inspeed anyway
  14. Good that he sticks to his principles and doesn't take any crap.If you have a succesful coach with the experience he has you should listen to what he says, not ignore it Remember seeing Marek riding for White City and Poland.was a good little rider
  15. Wasn't(isn't)Peter involved in tuning bikes? Would like to know how they are all doing.Especially Roger, who was a great rider and Dons servant. One of the best club riders i have seen
  16. He was injured before and wanted to see if he could ride in this meeting.Guess he didn't feel 100% after two heats
  17. According to the Russian forum the Russian GPs will be at Saransk 23/24.02 But i have seen that the European Championship will be held in Poland! 26/27.01.Maybe this will be instead of the Sanok Cup? And further to the Russian politics i mentioned it seems that the decision to fold the Kamensk-Uralsk club(the second best at least with the Ivanov + Khomitsevitch bros) was made on the 2nd August. Seems the big wigs in Moscow are being blamed. But this might be linked with Togliatti moving into Ice racing. They are the big club in speedway and do have good sponsorship, which is missing in Russian Ice speedway so it seems from the forum.
  18. Results from the Speed Club 25th anniversary T.Pedersen (0,1,1,1,2)5 J.Kristiansen(GSK) (2,0,0,3,1)6 H.Andersen (3,3,3,3,R)12+3 L.Hansen (1,2,0,1,R)4 K.Bjerre (3.3,3,2.3)14 J.Graversen (F,1,3,3,2)9 M.Korneliussen (2,2,2,3,3)12+2 C.Vissing (1,3,1,1,R)6 L.Madsen (2,0,2,2,2)8 N.Pedersen (3,3,3,1,3)13 D.Søderholm (0,1,0,0,2)3 P.Juul (1,1,2,2,1)7 K.Hansen (2,2,1,2,3)10 N.K.Iversen (3,2,-,-,-)5 J.Kristiansen(SSK) (0,0,1,0,1)2 P.Nørgaard (1,0,2,0,0)3 S.Nielsen (0,1)1 R.Bach (0)0 Semi 1 K.Bjerre 3 H.Andersen 1 K.Hansen 2 L.Madsen 0 Semi 2 N.Pedersen 3 M.Korneliussen 2 J.Graversen 1 P.Juul 0 Final N.Pedersen 3 K.Bjerre e.f K.Hansen 2 M.Korneliussen 1 Full heat details can be seen here in the 2 pdf files
  19. Results of the Individual meeting in Norden. Here There was a 6 rider heat as well which isn't mentioned. Results 1.Tobi Kroner 2.K.Zielinski 3.F.Facher 4.J.de Jong 5.T.Sörensen 6.B.Danielczik
  20. Have to say Denmar is pretty poor for results, apart from the new Danish League site. Most of the other leagues and individual meetings you just get sketchy final scores and a few top scorers.Apart from when i have been to a meeting
  21. Real mystery ain't it Seems from the Slangerup site 1.Nicki P 2.K.Hansen 3.Mads 4.K.Bjerre not sure where Hans was in all this.Looks like he must have suffered the e.f in the semi that cec838 is refering to?Maybe something will come up later on the Speedway-League site or the Speed Club site
  22. Danish League table. Looking like Holsted for the title.Only have 4 meetings left. Two at home which they should win.The two away are the important ones. They have 1 away at Outrup who are weak, but have bolstered their team a bit with Kamil Zielinski and Richard Speiser of late. And the important one away at Slangerup. But Slangerup also have a fairly easy 4 meetings + the Holsted one.
